According to the English Curriculum Standards for General Senior High Schools,"the main purpose of the English curriculum reform in senior high schools is to establish a new teaching concept of foreign language education and make the curriculum design and curriculum content contemporary,basic and selective." English teaching is figurative,and teachers must impart knowledge,skills,skills to students by using a series of teaching methods and means.In order to adapt to the development of national economy and politics,the Ministry of Education has continuously promoted the reform of educational work.However,classroom plays an important part role in education,so no matter how the basic education reform changes,it is a classroom-centered reform.The three-step teaching method of systematic composition is a new teaching method under the background of curriculum reform.In recent years,more and more attention has been paid to the application of cognitive linguistics,image schema and mind mapping in teaching.Relevant research involves many subjects,including vocabulary teaching,grammar teaching and reading teaching in English classroom teaching.Previous studies on systematic composition teaching method have been done,but there are few studies on the application of systematic composition three-step teaching method in English teaching.According to the characteristics of thinking and perception of high school students who are relatively weak in English learning.Using the picture-background theory,conceptual metaphor theory and image schema theory in cognitive linguistics theory,this paper explores how the Three-step teaching method of system composition improve students' enthusiasm of learning English and learning interest,to cultivate students' ability of autonomous learning,which aims to cultivate students' literacy for core subjects.The three-step teaching method of systematic composition is an exploration in classroom teaching is proposed by Yan Jianping,a teacher from Shanxi Provincial Institute of Education Science.The three-step method of system composition is divided into three steps: primary construction,fine construction and re-construction.Initial structure clears students' knowledge,fine structure trains students' ability,re-structure enhance students' literacy.This paper uses the action research method,experience summary method,survey method and other research methods,combining with teachers' teaching experience in No.64 middle school in Taiyuan,analyzing the result of the mid-term exam and final exam schedule of two classes,analyzing questionnaire survey conducted by teachers and students,which in order to explore how how the three-step method of systematic composition affects high school English classes.The result shows that the application of the three-step teaching method of systematic composition in high school English class can effectively enhance students' interest in learning English,effectively improve the classroom efficiency of vocabulary teaching,grammar teaching and reading teaching in high school English,so as to help students learn to study independently and cultivate their core qualities.
