The Development And Changes Of Documentaries In The Context Of New Media

This paper takes the context of new media as the background of The Times,selects some representative documentaries and the food documentary “Breakfast in Nanchang”,my graduation work,as cases to analyze and clarify the development and changes of documentaries in the context of new media.Firstly,the paper introduces the changes in the creation subject and content length of documentaries in the context of new media,that is,the creation subject is more diversified,the subject content is more popular and the emergence of micro documentaries.Then it analyzes the changes in the presentation and narration of documentaries in the context of new media,such as the introduction of phantasm-type editing and variety elements,the adoption of fancy subtitles and network language,the support of distinctive music elements,the emergence of a large number of first-person narrative perspectives,and the relaxed and humorous narrative style.In the end,the paper sorts out the changes of documentary communication and marketing methods in the context of new media,which are embodied in the diversification of communication channels,the change of viewing methods and habits,and the change of marketing methods.
