The Evolution And Internationalization Of Indian Action Films

In the context of globalization,films have become an important part of the cultural output of different countries,and the development trend of ethnic films with national characteristics is also on the rise.Audiences from different regions and cultural backgrounds can learn about the world's diverse cultures through films.With its unique charm and effective communication strategy,Indian films have always been very popular in the international film market,among which action films are the most popular.In the box office ranking of Foreign films in North America,it not only holds the first place in box office for many years,but also ranks the top in number,which makes the artistic expression and commercial value of Indian action films both harvest and become the cultural "name card" of Indian national films in the international communication.This paper studies Indian action films from three aspects.The first part combs the development course of Indian action film.Since the rise of the 1970 s,Indian action films have combined the social reality of various periods of India and actively integrated India's own religious and cultural characteristics,becoming the most characteristic films in Indian Masala films.In the second part,four sub-genres of Indian action films are analyzed.As a new action film,Indian action film is a fusion of various genres.By combining classic films of different sub-genres,it is demonstrated that Indian action film has its unique genre characteristics,narrative focus and cultural core.The third part analyzes the communication strategies adopted by Indian action films in international communication from the perspective of industry,and demonstrates its communication advantages through data analysis and comparison.In the end,it is hoped that this paper can provide some references for the future development and dissemination of Indian action films.
