Exploration Of Compositional Forms In Contemporary Composite Material Painting Creation

This paper mainly discusses the application of composition language form in contemporary painting of composite materials.The application of composition language form in painting has been ancient,such as abandoning the "metaphysical" in traditional Chinese painting to simply discuss the visual layout of the picture,in traditional painting and calligraphy,language form is often used to express the artist’s pursuit of artistic conception.For example,the most commonly used "blank space" and "virtual and real activity" in traditional Chinese painting are also negative space and main object relationship in western painting language.It can be said that the two have the same way of expression in composition form.The form of composition not only serves as a means to express the artist’s inner emotional tendency,but also serves as an important basis to judge the perfection of the picture.As an emerging non-mainstream painting technique from the western art system,synthetic materials are essentially a medium and means for artists to create works.This article is mainly divided into four parts to elaborate the composition form in the contemporary comprehensive material painting application.The first part mainly explains the concept and form of composition,the research on the three attributes of composition in modern design and briefly introduces the development history of composition,as well as how artists realized the transformation from plastic art to the pursuit of spiritual essence from ancient times to today.In addition,some examples will be given of how some artists add composition forms in painting creation to make the picture more aesthetic and formal sense.The second part will introduce the development history of contemporary painting with mixed materials,from its birth to the course of modern and contemporary painting with mixed materials.An example of an art form that combines materials from various periods.Then to explore the practice and spiritual exploration of contemporary artists in the creation of comprehensive material painting.The third part is the key part of this thesis.It mainly discusses the combination and application of constituent language in synthetic materials.This part will illustrate the works of some Chinese and Western modern and contemporary artists,and explain the diversity and necessity of the expression of constituent language in the history of painting with comprehensive materials,from "artists are craftsmen" to the practice path of applying constituent elements to inject spirituality into pictures in the early 20 th century.The fourth part takes its own creation as the starting point and combines composition language with its own creation to explore more possibilities of paper painting creation.
