Research On The Harmony Technique Of The Music "Treasure Island"

Harmony is one of the seven elements of music composition,and the harmony used by different music styles is very different.Traditional classical music is mainly based on triads,characterized by distinct and clear acoustics,and simple and clear function of harmony.However,the harmonious acoustics in traditional classical music do not conform to the aesthetic and musical concept of jazz.Jazz broadened the concept of "chords" by adding many extended notes on top of the chords that overlapped in third degrees.Because jazz is accustomed to using continuous dissonant intervals to increase the tension of the sound effect,this tension and fresh sound is precisely an important characteristic of jazz.The music of Treasure Island mostly adopts the harmonic technique of jazz music.In this music,the author often uses the overlay chords with extended notes in third degree to support the melody.The use of chord materials is particularly extensive,ranging from the traditional third overlaid seventh chord to the high overlaid third overlaid chord with extended notes.The use of chord materials may seem arbitrary,but each chord is carefully thought out and designed by the composer.
