Discussion On Cross-cultural Adaptation Of Volunteer Chinese Teachers In Europe

In recent years,the popularity of Chinese has been heating up.Every year a large number of volunteer Chinese teachers are sent abroad to teach Chinese.Their cross-cultural adaptation conditions abroad and the problem of cross-cultural communication have aroused extensive discussion.European countries are important destination countries for Chinese language teacher volunteers.There are great differences between Chinese and Western cultures,while domestic research on the cross-cultural adaptability of Chinese teachers in European countries is relatively less.At present,domestic research on the cross-cultural adaptation of volunteer Chinese language teachers mainly focuses on social and psychological aspects.Studies that take into account their adaptation in teaching are relatively rare.This paper takes 64 volunteer Chinese language teachers from various European countries as the survey objects,starting from the three dimensions of "teaching work adaptation","social cultural adaptation" and "psychological adaptation",and analyzes the data obtained from questionnaire surveys and individual interviews.The purpose of this essay is to help volunteer Chinese language teachers to adapt to work and life in Europe faster and better,and to further improve the ability of volunteer Chinese language teachers to adapt to cross-culturalism and to provide specific suggestions for smoothly launching Chinese language teaching.
