Since the concept of implicit learning came out,the relationship between implicit learning and attention has become an important content of psychological research. What role does selective attention play in implicit learning?Through literature review,it is found that some studies have shown that selective attention is not a necessary condition for implicit learning to occur, and some researchers believe that selective attention plays an irreplaceable role in the process of implicit learning, only with the participation of selective attention Implicit learning can happen. The main reasons for the controversy on this issue are:differences in experimental paradigms, differences in sensory channels, differences in experimental materials, and so on.Therefore, this article intends to explore the role of selective attention in auditory implicit learning when using different experimental materials in the artificial grammar paradigm from the perspective of experimental materials.Research method:This article is divided into three experiments.Experiment 1 adopts a single-factor test room design, and the variable is the material type. The correct rate of the participants' judgment of the material rules in the post-learning test stage is used as the performance of implicit learning and provides a comparative baseline for Experiments 2 and 3;Experiment 2 adopts a 2 × 2 X 2 inter-subject design and uses binaural listening technology With the 2AGL paradigm,in the case of materials with a high degree of familiarity, explore whether the rules of the experimental materials and the orientation of attention will affect the effect of selective attention on auditory implicit learning;Experiment 3 is based on Experiment 2,and explores in low familiarity The effect of selective attention on auditory implicit learning under the level of material. The research results of Experiment 1 shows that when the same learning materials are presented in both ears, the judgment accuracy rate of the subjects under the three learning materials is significantly higher than the random level, and the main effect of the material type is not significant;the research results of Experiment 2 shows:(1)Double In the case of ear-divided listening, whether there are rules in the attention ear does not affect the implicit learning of the non-attention ear.(2)The main effect of selective attention is significant, and the correct rate of implicit learning in the subjects' non-attention ears is at a random level;the main effect of material type is not significant, and the interaction between the two is not significant;the result of experiment three shows that the non-attention ear materials are unfamiliar In Korean text materials, the correct rate of subjects' non-attentional implicit learning is significantly higher than the random level.Research conclusions:(1)When the same learning materials are presented in both ears, auditory implicit learning requires selective attention, and the type of learning materials has no effect on auditory implicit learning.(2)At a high level of familiarity, when the two ears present different learning materials, the presence or absence of rules has no effect on auditory implicit learning. The participation of selective attention determines whether auditory implicit learning occurs.(3)Unfamiliar materials with low familiarity can learn implicitly without the participation of selective attention.
