Teachers' curriculum consciousness plays an important role in the field of school education nowadays,especially in senior English classes,high School English teachers' curriculum consciousness to a certain extent affects the teaching methods adopted by teachers,the development of the teaching process and even the actual learning effect of students.Based on the premise that the study of senior English teachers' curriculum consciousness is inadequate under the background of current core literacy,further research on this topic is imperative.Besides,the implementation of ideological and Political Education in English teaching and learning is also worth studying.This study is based on the new English curriculum reform of senior high school under the background of core literacy,and based on the basic requirements of core literacy of English subject,using questionnaire survey,classroom observation and interview,taking dozens of senior high school English teachers in Qingdao as research subjects,the quantitative data of questionnaires and qualitative data of classroom observation and interviews were collected over a period of one and a half months,then I use SPSS 25.0 and content analysis to analyze the data and draw conclusions.The purpose of this study is to answer the following four questions: firstly,what is the status quo of English teachers' curriculum goal consciousness in senior high schools? Secondly,what is the status quo of curriculum implementation consciousness among senior English teachers? Thirdly,what is the current situation of English teachers' consciousness of curriculum evaluation? Fourth,what are the factors that influence senior high school English Teachers' curriculum consciousness?The results show that,firstly,on the whole,senior high school English teachers have a good consciousness of the current situation of curriculum,have a good basis for training.Secondly,from the three dimensions of curriculum goal,implementation and evaluation consciousness,teachers' curriculum implementation consciousness is the strongest,while the other two aspects are relatively weak.In teachers' curriculum implementation consciousness,the consciousness of English teaching content is renewed faster than that of English teaching method.Thirdly,the factors that influence senior high school English teachers' curriculum consciousness mainly include teaching years,teachers' knowledge,teachers' own life experience,teaching materials,teaching grades,teaching and research activities and training and teaching methods.Among them,the groups with teaching experience of less than one year and 10-20 years are the best,followed by the other groups.The value of this study lies in: in theory,this study is conducive to enrich the research materials in the field of high school English core literacy,improve the pertinence of high school English teachers' teaching,so as to increase teachers' theoretical reserves and deepen their understanding of core literacy and curriculum ideological and political concepts.In practice,the results of this study will help to improve teachers' awareness of their own education,promote the combination of teachers' teaching theory and teaching practice,guide teachers' future exploration of curriculum practice,promote the improvement of high school English teachers' quality and teaching quality,and inject new vitality into the new curriculum reform of high school.
