This is a practice English-Chinese consecutive interpretation of the International Conference on Early Education held in Taiwan in 2016.In this paper,the author specifically analyzes the problems in this practice,which are incorrect omission,mistranslation and unclear or incoherent delivery of Chinese due to linguistic differences between Chinese and English.Based on these practice errors and a large number of case studies,the author proposes corresponding solutions,namely,information condensation,logical manifestation and omission.This report provides some valuable experience and methods for the author's interpretation practice in the future,so as to reduce the load of interpreters and improve the quality and work efficiency of interpretation if the subject is related to children's integrated education. |
