Research On Imbalance Theory By David Harvey

In the world of drastic changes,Harvey’s imbalance theory is of great value to analyze the current situation of social life in the process of flexible cycle accumulation.This paper first combs the research background of the imbalance theory,then combines the social reality at home and abroad,especially the contradiction and conflict problems,so as to provide some help and ideas for the solution of the imbalance in China.This paper analyzes the background of the imbalance theory and arranges the framework of Harvey imbalance theory.He analyzed the process of spatial expansion from a unique geographical space perspective and analyzed the spatial imbalance caused by globalization.In this process,Harvey,influenced by Marx,Lefebver and Foucault’s space theory construction ideas,combined with "geography" and "economy" constructed a new space theory.He studied the interrelationship between the spatial imbalance and other geographical factors in reality,revealed an internal logic relationship between capital accumulation,spatial production and other geographical factors in capitalist period,and criticized the space nature of contemporary capitalism.This paper mainly discusses the basic formation and main contents of Harvey’s unbalanced theory.He criticizes the space,economics and social development of capitalism in cities and globalization through space theory,reveals the operation mechanism and internal contradictions of contemporary capitalism,and introspects the problems of economics and globalization led by capitalism.Harvey’s unbalanced theory analyzes the process of global spatial expansion of western capital from the perspective of "geography",and explores the contradiction and crisis of western capital formation and the relationship between "geography".This paper focuses on the theoretical contribution,advantages and disadvantages of Harvey’s unbalanced theory,and the enlightenment to the construction of contemporary socialist modernization in China.His theory of science and technology has activated the vitality of contemporary Marxism again,which provides a new vision for us to understand the formation and development mode of contemporary Chinese capitalism and the contradictions in it.Harvey imbalance theory is formed gradually in the study of the imbalance in capitalism.In this process,he not only stays in the analysis and criticism,but also puts forward the "Utopia" scheme to change the imbalance.He tries to make the labor force under control and transformation in unbalanced development realize his state through the reconstruction of Utopian ideal,and then carry out the continuous resistance struggle.They are made to stand out to change the world and finally realize the Utopia design landscape.With the rapid development of globalization,China is facing the same problems.China must find a new way to solve its own contradictions and crises.The construction of Harvey imbalance,which is combed in this paper,has certain reference significance for analyzing and solving the unbalanced development of contemporary China.
