The revival of seal Scripture in the mid-Qing Dynasty promoted the development of stele studies.The literati Jinshi calligraphers’ visit to the stele became more and more popular.For a while,the school of simplicity rose.Callers were able to come into contact with a large number of Qin and Han golden and stone steles.Emancipating people’s minds,Deng Shiru created the seal script style with his own personality into the printing,practicing the theory of "books from printing in,printing from books",liberating the creative ideas of the Indians,and creating the Anhui style of printing.Influencing each other with the Zhejiang School,formed the most important school in the Qing Dynasty.The creation of the Xinzhe School represented by Wang Fuan mainly originated from the Eight Serang schools represented by Ding Jing.Among them,Zhong Yijing played a key role as a "link",enabling Wang Fuan to learn the spirit of the Zhejiang School.Inspired by Ding Jing’s "Ancient Seal Carving Thinking Outlier",Wang Fuan borrowed Zhao Zhichen’s white seals,traced back to the Qin and Han ancient seals,and created a white multi-character seal based on the lines of the Han cast printing,which is elegant and pure and ancient.Wang Fu’an not only adopted the Zhe School,but also integrated the "Deng School" style.Wang Fu’an’s inscriptions are blended into the small seal brushwork,which is elegant and beautiful.His jade chopsticks and iron thread seal style,with thin and strong lines,natural knots,with more strokes occupying more space,those with fewer strokes occupying less space,the exhibitor is allowed to let it go,and the closing is tight,and it has a scroll-like atmosphere.Based on the analysis of Wang Fu’an’s seal carving,this article draws a conclusion that Wang Fu’an has taken ancient methods and pioneered and innovated.Under the guidance of Deng Shiru’s theory of "Books from printing,printing from books",a number of masters such as Zhao Zhiqian,Huang Mufu,Wu Changshuo,etc.have emerged from the theory of "printing from the book".Their seal cutting style pursues "printing" on this basis.The idea of seeking seals from outside has pushed the Ming and Qing genres of seal cutting to a new level.This article compares Wang Fu’an,Wu Rangzhi,and Wu Changshuo’s seal-cutting styles of inscribed and stone scrolls,and derives Wang Fu’an’s inherited and innovative multi-character printing style.Astringent lines take the momentum,the lines are mellow and vigorous,there is a curve in the straightness,and there is a straightness in the song,which can put the sparse beauty in the vastness.The space is evenly white,the size is staggered,interspersed and echoed,showing rich changes in the calm surface.Wang Fu’an mainly pursues the peace of mind of scholars and doctors.Wang Fu’an is another peak after Wu Changshuo and Zhao Shuru.Many of his disciples such as Dun Lifu,Han Deng’an,Wu Putang,Jiang Chengzhi,Xu Jiazhi,Shen Shoujue,Zhou Zhili,Wei Zikang,Gao Shixiong,Wang Xinshi,Wang Jingyu,etc.are all outstanding achievements.Through the exhibitions held by the Xileng Yinshe Art Museum,the Zhejiang Art Museum,and the investigation by the staff of the Zhejiang Museum of Literature and History,this article has always revolved around the four generations of Wang Fuan,Han Deng’an,Yu Zheng,and Chen Mo in Wang Fu’an’s cultural heritage.Innovation unfolds.At the same time,by combing through the past national calligraphy and seal cutting exhibitions,he summarized the distribution of Wang Fu’an’s multi-character printing style and its enlightenment to contemporary Indians.
