| In the past two decades,the study of Lexical Chunk has been paid more and more attention,but it is still in the stage of exploration.Some scholars have applied The Lexical Approach to oral and listening teaching.It has achieved initial results,while the application of The Lexical Approach in writing teaching is rarely studied.For Business Chinese learners,Business Chinese Writing has always been a problem,and the traditional teaching method may not be suitable for all circumstances.Therefore,it is necessary to study the application of the Lexical Approach in Business Chinese Correspondence Writing Teaching.Based on the theory of Lexical Chunk in China and abroad,the paper defines and classifies Business Lexical Chunk,constructs a theoretical framework of Business Lexical Chunk.The Lexical Approach is applied to the teaching of Business Correspondence Writing.The client credit investigation letter and reply letter are selected for the Lexical teaching design and teaching practice.To explore the scope of application of The Lexical Approach,whether The Lexical Approach can improve students’ business correspondence writing ability and in what aspects.The study will contribute to the development of Chinese chunk theory and provide substantial data support for the application of Lexical Chunk in writing teaching.The paper consists of seven chapters.Chapter one introduces the background and significance of the topic,and discusses the research problems,research ideas and research methods.The second chapter firstly sorts out the definition and classification of Lexical Chunk from China and abroad,and introduces the current research status of Business Chinese Writing Teaching.Then generalizes and discusses the application of The Lexical Approach from the field of English and Chinese.The third chapter is the analysis of Business Chinese Lexical Chunk.Firstly,define Business Chinese Lexical Chunk.Secondly,classify Business Chinese Lexical Chunk according to the grammatical unit hierarchy.Thirdly,Business Chinese Correspondence in Business Chinese Writing(volume ii)are combined to conduct statistics and analysis of business Lexical Chunk from three layers: discourse,sentence level and word level.The fourth chapter defines The Lexical Approach,introduces the theoretical basis of The Lexical Approach,and focuses on the teaching principles and steps of The Lexical Approach.Among them,the teaching steps of The Lexical Approach include: Situation creation--obtaining functional intention;Learning correspondence--identifying and understanding Lexical Chunk;Practice of language skills--using Lexical Chunk to form sentences;Correspondence writing--constructing a new discourse.The fifth chapter is the instructional design of Business Chinese Correspondence Writing Teaching,including the determination of teaching objectives,teaching objects and teaching methods,as well as the teaching plan display of The Lexical Approach and traditional teaching method.The specific teaching design of The Lexical Approach includes five steps: Problem introduction to business correspondence;Situation creation,learn the correspondence frame;Learn business correspondence through examples;Practice Business Chinese Lexical Chunk,group discussion;Assign the homework and teachers correct the homework.The sixth chapter analyzes the teaching practice with the help of SPSS data analysis software,including statistical analysis of each achievement in the experimental class and the control class.Analysis of students’ mastery of Lexical Chunk in the experimental class;Analysis on the relationship between The Lexical Approach and teaching effect.The following conclusions can be drawn: 1.The application of The Lexical Approach is good for improving students’ Business Chinese Correspondence Writing ability.2.The application of The Lexical Approach is of the greatest help to students’ sentence-making practice,followed by word selection practice and writing practice.3.Students in the experimental class have a strong awareness of using Lexical Chunk,and most of them have a good command of Lexical Chunk.4.The study of Word-level Business Lexical Chunk is of great help to students’ word selection practice;The study of Discourse Business Lexical Chunk is helpful to students’ writing practice;The study of Sentence-level Business Lexical Chunk is helpful to students’ sentence-making practice.Based on the feedback from the teaching survey,the paper puts forward some suggestions on the teaching of Business Chinese Correspondence Writing.The seventh chapter is the conclusion.Summarize the main points of the paper,and put forward the innovation,shortcomings and further research problems. |
