With the advancement of the construction of a healthy China and the implementation of a healthy and civilized lifestyle,the outline of the country's "Healthy China 2030" plan clearly states that: we must adhere to prevention,reduce the incidence of diseases,and focus on solving the health problems of the people.Middle-aged and elderly people have important social responsibilities and family responsibilities.Their physical health will directly affect the status of work and the harmony of family relationships.With the increase of age,with the emergence of various diseases,the body aging The speed is getting faster and faster,and the aging panic has led them to continuously seek ways to delay aging and maintain health.Physical exercise is undoubtedly the best choice,and the square dance movement in physical exercise is also loved by middle-aged and elderly women,which is in line with women's Aesthetic pursuit and fitness needs.Objective: To explore the influence of different square dance movements on the cognitive function of middle-aged and elderly women.Methods: Thirty middle-aged and elderly women who participated in the study from July 2019 to October 2019 were randomly divided into 16 groups in the competition group and 14 in the fitness group.The cognitive abilities of the two groups were evaluated with the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale(Mo CA)at the time point before the experiment and three months of exercise.Conclusion:1.Long-term regular square dance exercise can effectively improve the cognitive ability of middle-aged women.Long-term adherence to this exercise can make participants' total cognitive assessment score greater than or equal to 26 points(representing that cognitive ability is at a normal level).2.The square dance movement for the purpose of participating in the competition has a greater impact on the cognitive function of middle-aged women than the square dance movement for the main purpose of fitness.3.Middle-aged women's practice of dancing element memory in the square dance movement,scene change teaching,formation change memory,consolidation review after class,and control of music beats can significantly improve their visual space imagination ability and hands-on executive function,language Retelling the functions of expression,abstract thinking,and later recall of known facts.Long-term adherence to regular square dance movements can effectively delay memory decline and cognitive impairment in middle-aged women.4.The Montreal Cognitive Assessment Form has a very good effect on measuring the cognitive function of middle-aged female population,and can effectively help to detect symptoms of diseases related to cognitive function.
