Li Jian Poetry Research

Li Jian was a poet in the Qian Long years of the Qing Dynasty in Guangdong province.He is famous for poem,calligraphy and painting.Qian Zhonglian made a conclusion that Li Jian's poems are representative in Lin nan area.This thesis is mainly on Li Jian's poems,summarizing Li Jian's life experience and thinking.The thesis includes five chapters.The first chapter describes the life and character of Li Jian.On the one hand,it demonstrates the growing environment of Li Jian and points out the influence of her father on him.On the other hand,it shows how Li Jian went from obscurity to be famous in Guangdong province.The last part introduces Li Jian still is not surrendered to the power,which his spirit is valuable.The second chapter shows classification of Li Jian's poetry based on the emotion expressed by Li Jian.It includes four types as the character as the wanderer,husband and father's role,the role of the sick,and the role as a friend.The third chapter analyzes the artistic characteristics of Li Jian's poems.This chapter shows the typical style of Li Jian's poems by analyzing the words and images that appear most frequently in his poems.On the one hand,the poet's personality is solitary,and he suffers from illness all the year round.In addition,he has been wandering abroad all the year round and has experienced various degrees of separation.Therefore,some of his poems present a lonely style.On the other hand,influenced by the Lin nan's literary tradition and his own poetic pursuit,the poet's poetry has the characteristics of being vigorous and vigorous,his poems are powerful and have a clear and vigorous style.The fourth chapter analyzes the influence of buddhist thought on Li Jian,including the influence on his life,the influence on her attitude towards life,and the influence on his poetry.In life,Li Jian reverently offered to the Buddha and claimed to be a layman.In terms of attitude towards life,influenced by such concepts as "impermanence","non-ego" and "bitter emptiness",the poet takes a pessimistic attitude towards life,which makes most of his poems reflect the bitter emptiness of life.In addition,his poems also show a bleak characteristic.The fifth chapter analyzes the influence of Confucianism on Li Jian.As a traditional Confucian scholar,the idea of Confucian traditional morality is rooted in his mind.Therefore,the poet attaches great importance to morality,character and poem name.In the face of poetry creation,Li Jian wrote for the people and created many poems concerned with the sufferings of the people.On the idea of poetics,Li Jian advocated learning from the ancient but not trapped in the ancient,to be bold in innovation.Through the above analysis,we can see that Li Jian's character,experience,thoughts,content and style of poetry are mutually influenced and should be reflected in each other.Li Jian's poetry is rich in many aspects,which is not only profound and delicate,but also has a heroic and vigorous style.Li Jian's poems are the representative of the rich features of lingnan poetry.This paper will discuss the contents of Li Jian's poems.
