| In the traditional culture of china, poetry had a close relationship with music. Music played an important role in the formation of the contents, the forms and the styles of Chinese poetry. And it also gave a great push to the production, the consumption and the spread of the poetry. The relationship between music and poetry has become one of the focuses in the contemporary academic researches. And some scholars have made a lot of useful exploration in this field. This thesis, on the basis of the achievements made by the predecessors, tries to make a tentative study of Yue Fu poetry by scholars in Jian'an period from the perspective of music, focusing on the the development of Yue Fu music and its influence on Yue Fu poetry by scholars.One important feature of Yue Fu poetry in Jian'an period is the flourishing of Qing Shang music, which benefited from the advocation of Caoshi sanzu Under a dense music environment, Jian'an poets became musically accomplished. When they were absorbed completely in the beauty and emotions penetrated in Jian'an music, their Yue Fu poetry was also influenced unconsciously by it. By borrowing Yue Fu old titles and stressing the explanation of poems by music, they created many Yue Fu poems that turned to be Yue Fu que at that period.Yue Fu music had a comprehensive influence on the Yue Fu poetry in Jian'an period. This thesis mainly talks about its influence on styles and forms of Yue Fu poetry in Jian'an period. The flourishing of Yue Fu music made Cao brothers become devoted to the construction of Yue Fu poems. Then there appeared a lot of Yue Fu poems created by scholars. And most styles were applied to Yue Fu old titles. There were many depressed expressions in Yue Fu poems. It was affected to some extent by such a key characteristic that a deep sorrowful feeling was penetrated in Yue Fu music. And the lyric quality of Qing Shang music just matches it quite well. Sorrowful Xiang He songs became the best tool for poets in Jian'an period to express impassion and the description of music also became one way to demonstrate their grief and indignation. It is clear thatthe formation of style full of melancholy was closely related to the music and just benefited a lot from it.Wu Yan poems reached a peak in Jian'an period. This situation also had a certain relationship with Yue Fu music. Though at that time Wu Yan poetry style had appeared for quite a long time, it still was not a kind of formal style. So it had been being used to write Chang Yue songs. At the later period of Dong Han, some people interested in poetry from low and middle classes began to create Wu Yan poems by imitation and made outstanding achievements, such as Nineteen Ancient Poems, which were actally real Wu Yan poems. Because this kind of poems was only popular among some people from low and middle classes, it has not been used in poetry construction or taught in class. In Jian'an period, for the influence of music, Cao cao began to create a lot of poems, most of which were of Wu Yan style. It is obvious that Wu Yan poems in Jian'an period had been developing in a musical climate. We can say that without Yue Fu music there should be no great development of Wu Yan poetry style. |
