The Application Of Chance Choreography In The Solo Dance Collection "The Wanderer"

Opportunity choreography was firstly proposed by the famous American modern dancer and the representative of the new avant-garde,moss Cunningham.He created the opportunity choreography under the influence of the ancient Chinese philosophy I Ching.This paper took the opportunity choreography of Morse Cunningham as an opportunity,depended on in line with the core theoretical spirit of opportunity and chance,combined with the actual situation of contemporary Chinese dance creation,to present the theoretical value of opportunity choreography on the stage through the artistic practice of dance works.From the perspective of the opportunity choreography theory,the author tries to explore the feasibility of applying the opportunity choreography theory to the stage practice through the stage presentation of dance works,and records the process from each play of the solo dance collection "vagrancy" to the final stage presentation by using the opportunity choreography theory.The creation mode of the nine dance plays in the solo dance collection vagrancy is to discover the element modeling in the chance and chance,then to develop the complete dance sentence and dance section from the modeling,finally the stage movement route of the actors to form the complete composition of the works can be determined.The author put the theory of opportunity choreography into practice in the creation of the solo dance collection vagrancy.The whole creation process of the work is free,not bound by the framework of traditional choreography,and the personality and style of director have been well developed.However,to a certain extent,the author has a more rational understanding about the level of theoretical research,and the practical creation ability of dance works has been improved 。...
