The Book of Job influenced Dostoyevsky's whole life.Considering the human condition,he chose a medium between reality and ideal to fully express faith, doubt and absurdity-artistic creation, leaving all these to the world through literary creation. This paper will take The Underground Notes as an example to explore the relationship between the two works,so as to find more possibilities for the reading of The Underground Notes. This paper mainly adopts the method of text reference reading, selects the contemporary critical theory, carries on the literary interpretation in the theological perspective, bases on the whole words, and explores the theological concerns in the thesis from the shallow to the deep on the basis of the close reading of the text.Firstly, this paper through the text content compares Job to God as well as the"underground man" to "self-evident law" about the inquiry of "sin" "revenge" and"suffering",elaborated the correlation, and then, from the perspective of the genre-the drama form of tragicomedy, expounds their associations, finally, from the perspective of the theory of polyphonic novel Bakhtin to explore the association.Secondly, from the perspective of theology in a broad sense,we will compare the ways of"underground man" and "Job" to deal with the problem of suffering.Based on the analysis of the dying psychologist Elisabeth Kubler-Ross,we'll continue to compare the emotional reactions of "Job" and "underground man" in the face of life problems, and then discuss the similarities and differences of their concepts of "progressive control".Thirdly, based on Rene Girard's theory analysis of the "underground man" imitation desirehe is eager to become the object of obstacle is often hampered him in his desire to achieve, idol interaction with barriers contributed to his "underground law",and is perfectly embodied in both theory and drama part, and religious significance that this kind of interaction can be found in the Book of Job.Next,we'll will analyze the "underground law"embodied in these works from the perspective of the victim and the persecutor respectively, and compare the correlation between them.Fourthly,on the basis of exploring the relationship between the two works through the imitation mechanism of René Girard, this part will be divided into three sections--natural desire and imitation desire, peaceful imitation, and ways to solve the tension caused by imitation,to clarify that in the background of Christian theology, imitation desire not only causes tension and crisis to the society, but also has positive significance, and even inspires us to re-understand the core of "imitation of desire" theory. Finally,if we want to overcome the inertia, even the tension and crisis caused by the powerful forces of imitation around us,we need to find a peaceful example of imitation. As far as the relationship between literature and Christianity is concerned, literary works are the only way to fully express the emergence and extinction of desire.Correspondingly,"christian-like conversion" will be the only way to restore human culture to the road of self-transcendence earlier.
