Video games are the main form of entertainment for young people, and the impact of games on psychology and behavior has been a hot topic for society and researchers. The General Learning Model(GLM)points out that personal and situational factors interact with the internal state of an individual, triggering changes in prosocial cognition, affect and physiological arousal after exposure to prosocial video games. The player then evaluates and determines the behavior after the game. When players get social support from other players during the game, they are more willing to make prosocial behavior. This research is based on the GLM model, and focuses on exploring the effects of prosocial content in video games on players 'prosocial attitudes and behaviors.Study 1 adopts a 3(game habits:play with online friend, play with real-world friend and play alone)×2(game mode:single-player and double-player)design,and the dependent variables are implicit cooperative attitude and implicit single attitude. The results show that:(1)the main effect of game habits on positive attitudes alone is significant;discriminators of players who often play games with netizens on positive attitudes alone are significantly lower than those who often play games with real friends and play games alone. The difference between the players who often play games with real friends and play games alone is not significant;the game mode has a significant effect on the positive implicit single attitude of the individual alone;the discriminative index after the singleplayer game is significantly higher than that of the two-player game; The interaction was not significant.(2)The main effect of game habits on positive positive attitudes of cooperation is not significant;the main effect of game modes on positive implicit attitudes of cooperation is significant. However, the interaction between game habits and game modes is not significant. The second study is the experimental design of 2(social value orientation,SVO:Prosocial individuals/Proself individuals)× 2(game mode:single/double),the dependent variable are cooperative behaviors. The results show that:(1)The main effect of the game mode on cooperative behavior was significant.Cooperative behavior under the single-player mode was lower than that under the double-player mode.(2)The main effect of SVO on cooperative behavior was significant.Prosocial individuals had higher cooperation than proself individuals.(3)SVO and the game mode had a significant interaction effect on cooperation. The simple effects analysis shows that for proself individuals, the difference in cooperation between the single-player and the double-player game mode was not significant. However, for proself individuals, the cooperative behavior in singleplayer game mode was significantly lower than that in double-player game mode. After playing in the single-player mode, the cooperative behavior of proself individuals and prosocial individuals was not significantly different. After playing in the double-player mode, the cooperative behavior of proself individuals was significantly lower than that of prosocial individuals;(4)Trust partially mediated the association between the game mode and cooperation. From the above results, the following conclusions were reached:1.personal situational:(1)Prosocial individuals have more cooperative behavior than proself individuals after cooperation game play.(2)Players who often play games with netizens have less positive attitude toward being alone.2.situational factors:The cooperative game mode can promote subsequent cooperative attitude and cooperative behavior.3.The two-player cooperative game mode can affect cooperation through trust.
