A Study Of Female Images In Sui Dynasty Poetry

On the basis of the continuation of Liang and Chen's poetry,Sui Dynasty poetry integrated the advantages of Northern Dynasty poetry and laid the foundation for the prosperity of Tang poetry.Although the quality and quantity of Sui poetry is not as good as that of the northern and Southern Dynasties and the Tang Dynasty,it also has certain characteristics.Females are one of the most concentrated images in Sui poetry.At the same time,the poetry of Sui Dynasty,which involves the female image,mainly inherits and develops the poetry of Southern Dynasty,and is an indispensable part of the research on the female image of poetry of Southern,Northern and Tang Dynasty.Therefore,this paper takes the female image in Sui poetry as the research object,and discusses from three angles:the type of female image,the aesthetic emphasis of female image,and the depiction of female image by different authors,trying to explore the characteristics and new changes of female image in Sui poetry.At the same time,combined with the background of politics,economy and mainstream ideology of the Sui Dynasty,this paper expounds the interaction between the poetry of the Sui Dynasty and the mainstream female view,and further investigates the evolution of the female view before the Tang Dynasty.The first chapter discusses the types of female images in Sui poetry.The female images in Sui poetry can be divided into three categories:the divine female,the ideal female and the real female.The first section examines the status and creative purpose of the image of divine female,and discusses the application of the image of weaving women in the Sui Dynasty's poetry of lovesick women;the second section examines the two ideal images of women in the Sui Dynasty's poetry,the dust women and the good family women,and discusses the application of Wang Zhaojun's image in depicting the image of complaining women.The third section investigates the two real female images of noble women and maids in Sui poetry,and discusses the self talk poetry of Virginity women in Sui poetry.The second chapter discusses the aesthetic tendency of the Sui Dynasty poets towards female from the aspects of the appearance,virtue and emotion.The first section discusses the description of female's appearance,analyzes the description of appearance,clothing and body in Sui poetry,and briefly summarizes the aesthetic attitude of people towards their appearance,The second section discusses the writing of female's virtue,analyzes the moral requirements for female in Sui poetry,and sums up the aesthetic requirements for their virtue in combination with social background.The third section discusses female's emotional writing,analyzes their love,personal will and patriotic feeling in Sui poetry,and explores the unique emotional experience reflected by female image's description in Sui poetry.The third chapter discusses the images of female written by different types of writers in Sui Dynasty.From the male aristocracy,male scholars,female three angles to discuss.The first section discusses the female images in male aristocratic poetry,analyzes the literary ideas and the female description of Yang Jian and Yang Guang.The second section discusses the female images in the poems of the literati groups in the Sui Dynasty,analyzes the similarities and differences of the female images described by Jiangzuo poets,Shandong poets and Guanlong poets,and briefly analyzes the female views of them by their poems.The third section discusses female's self writing in poetry from the perspectives of Sui Dynasty folk females,palace females,Princess Dayi and other special females.Through the analysis and arrangement of the above problems,this paper has got three conclusions.First of all,the female images depicted in the Sui poetry have five general characteristics:prostitutes are the main prototype and material of the female images depicted in the Sui poetry,the most concentrated depiction of Sui poetry is the image of lovesick women,the female images in the poetry reflect the ethical requirements of the Sui Dynasty for their obedience,and the creative purpose of entertainment,which makes the female images depicted by the Sui poets pursue beauty and goodness,and there are obvious differences between the female images in the poems of Sui Dynasty poets.Secondly,the description of female images in Sui Dynasty poetry has three main artistic characteristics:the materialization of characters,the diversification of depiction techniques and the localization of characterization.Finally,the depiction of female images in Sui poetry further consolidated the tradition of writing female themes in poetry,and also provided a broader inspiration for later generations to use various artistic techniques to depict females.
