Research On "Ningxia Republic Of China Daily" (1935-1949)

The Ningxia Republic daily was founded in 1929 and ceased publication on the eve of liberation of Yinchuan in September 1949.It was the longest-running and most influential newspaper in Ningxia during the Republic of China period.The newspaper office went through three stages,namely,the leadership of the Ningxia Provincial Party headquarters,the direct administration of the Kuomintang's Central Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China and the direct administration of the provincial government,and acted as the Kuomintang's mouthpiece in Ningxia in an extremely difficult historical environment,it records the political,economic and cultural development of Ningxia in the period of the Republic of China,and is of great historical value.Based on this,this thesis uses literature analysis and text analysis to sums up the existing original Ningxia Republic daily in all directions.Through the investigation and study of its founding background,general situation--and propaganda report content,the paper summarizes the contribution made by the publication of the newspaper to the development of Ningxia.This thesis consists of six parts,and the specific content is as follows:Chapter 1 introduces the significance of this paper,and combs the research status and relevant literature.At the same time,introduce the object and method of this paper,and clarify the innovation of this thesis.Because the Ningxia Republican daily is a local party newspaper named after the Republican daily,chapter 2 first combs the development of the Republican daily.After sorting out,it is found that the Ningxia Republican daily still published for a long time after the "Republic of China Daily" ceased publication,which can be used as a study of the "Republic of China Daily" supplementary information.Then,through the analysis of the time when the newspaper was first published,the affiliation and the change of the president,the management and management of the newspaper,the layout and the source of the articles,we can see that the change of its subordinate relationship,profit and loss,the increase and decrease of space are constantly adjusted with the change of the form of the war.Chapter 3 classifies and analyzes the editorials and short comments of the newspaper,which reveals that the comments can open people's minds and accelerate the social enlightenment.Later,through the analysis of the anti-japanese war propaganda of the Ningxia Republican daily,it can be concluded that the anti-japanese war propaganda in Ningxia was basically carried out around the "National Spiritual Mobilization Movement",this also provides some ideas for studying the propaganda of the anti-japanese war in the non-occupied areas.Chapter 4 mainly studies the content of the supplement of the Ningxia Republican daily from five aspects,namely,the judicial special issue,the military special issue,the special land administration special issue,the Shuo Feng and other supplements,through the detailed analysis of the content of the supplement,summed up the supplement for the masses of imperceptible effect of education.Chapter 5 firstly classifies the advertisements of Ningxia Republican daily.From 1940 to 1941,most of the advertisements were non-commercial advertisements,and from 1942 to 1949,commercial advertisements accounted for a great proportion,which was accompanied by the modernization and commercialization of Ningxia.Its advertisement not only serves the consumers in the process of transmitting information,but also guides the remolding of individual identity in the long run.Chapter 6 mainly draws the analysis of the above content that "Ningxia Republican Daily" has made a great contribution to the development of Ningxia during the Republic of China.The conclusion part summarizes the research work of this thesis and points out the deficiencies.
