In the early stage,the Mongolian people lived a nomadic life without a fixed place and created a rich nomadic culture.This paper takes Keyou Middle banner of Xing An League as the field point.This area is located in the northeast of Inner Mongolia.It is the first Mongolian area to start farming life in Inner Mongolia.It is also the ethnic minority living banner with the highest proportion of Mongolian population in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.It not only retains a relatively complete traditional material life culture,but also has a great change in the development process of modernization Therefore,the Mongolian culture in this area is typical.This paper mainly adopts the theory and research method of folklore,mainly field survey,and chooses three typical families,namely herdsmen,half farmers and half herdsmen,and farmers,as the survey objects,and conducts field survey and research around the material life culture and its changes of Mongolian people.First of all,through the analysis and Research on the four aspects of Mongolian traditional diet culture,clothing culture,living culture and production and living utensils culture,to understand the Mongolian traditional material life culture.In the diet culture,it mainly introduces the food types,production methods and social functions of diet.We will see that the food eaten by Mongolians in different time and environment is very different and of different significance.In terms of living culture,this paper introduces the types and unique living customs of Mongolian from traditional yurts to modern houses,and various types of houses reflect the social changes of Mongolian.In terms of costume culture,it introduces the types and social functions of Mongolian traditional costumes.There are many kinds of costumes and accessories of Mongolian traditional costumes,not only simple Mongolian robes,but also hats,headdresses,earrings,necklaces,bracelets,belts and boots.Costumes can reflect a person’s age,marriage,family conditions and status.In the aspect of production and living utensils culture,this paperintroduces the traditional farming utensils and living utensils of Mongolian,which are the concrete embodiment of two different production modes of Mongolian agriculture and animal husbandry.Secondly,the paper sums up the causes of Mongolian traditional material life culture,and holds that Mongolian traditional material culture is the result of the comprehensive function of Mongolian from natural environment and social environment.In terms of natural environment,grassland ecology is the material basis for the formation of Mongolian material culture,and all material life materials are taken from Ke Erqin prairie.At the same time,Mongolian material culture is also adapted to grassland climate and hydrology.In terms of social environment,the material culture of the Mongolian ethnic group has mutual causal effect with the nomadic production and the later agricultural production.On the one hand,the material production creates the material culture,on the other hand,the material production also serves the material production.The Lamaism belief of the Mongolian ethnic group also has a great influence on the material and cultural characteristics,which directly determines the material culture of the Mongolian ethnic group The characteristics of decoration also determine the living custom,eating custom and dress custom of Mongolian.Mongolian traditional material life culture has historical,cultural and tourism value,so there is a very comparative protection and inheritance.According to the problems existing in the inheritance of Mongolian traditional material life culture,this paper puts forward solutions and optimization paths.In the process of modern social development,ethnic minorities must improve their consciousness of ethnic culture.They should not only carry forward the excellent traditional culture of Mongolian,but also abandon the unfavorable traditional culture.They should promote the inheritance of ethnic culture through appropriate means of cultural protection and inheritance.At the same time,they should continue to learn and improve the adaptability of the ethnic group in the context of social development.
