Laclau, Murphy's Socialist Strategy Research

Many scholars in the capitalist society have realized that there are many contradictions between the bourgeoisie and the working class.However,due to the accumulation of capital,the welfare security system of capitalist countries has become more and more perfect.At the same time,various groups of resistance emerged,the Socialist Movement encountered setbacks,and left-wing ideas then fell into trouble.Faced with a series of blows,Marxists began to doubt the practicability of Marxist theory,and Marxism was in deep crisis.Nevertheless,the study of Marxism has not been abandoned by scholars,especially those at the Post-Marxism.Laclau and Murphy are two of the most prominent figures in the Post-Marxism.Leadership and the Socialist Strategy,written jointly by the two of them,has received wide attention.Scholars have given the book a completely different evaluation,so far there is no consensus within the academic community.Drawing on the views of post-structuralism and postmodernism,he deconstructed the classical theory of Marxism,put forward the theory of new socialism,and reprogrammed socialism.A Social Programme of democratic politics based on a revolution of pluralistic subjects and a radical struggle for leadership in order to fulfil the aspirations of the people for Freedom and democracy.He repudiated the traditional Economic determinism and criticized the Essentialism,emphasizing the decisive role of politics in economy.Based on the theories of radical democracy,leadership and discourse power,the pluralistic radical democracy is put forward again.They see the Post-Marxism as a way to inherit Marxism by sublating it,a new reflection on the revolution.The purpose of this thesis is to systematically and deeply study the main contents and core viewpoints of Laclau and Murphy's socialist strategy,and to summarize the significance and value of theirpolitical theory.The first chapter of this paper expounds the origin of the socialist strategy of Laclau and Murphy,including the research background,literature review,etc..The Second Chapter discusses the core of the socialist strategy of Laclau and Murphy,it mainly includes the right of discourse,the right of leadership and the theory of pluralistic radical democracy,the main contents include the research on the contribution of the theory of socialism,the criticism on the thought of Lamo,and the revelation of the theory of new socialism.The ENLIGHTENMENT IS CARRIED OUT FROM THREE ANGLES: ideological discourse right,pluralistic subject and radical democratic politics.Although he took Marxism as his starting point,he actually went further and further away.The new Socialist strategy deviates from the essence of Marxism,is a false Marxism,is a radical capitalist democratic revolution.But some of the Post-Marxism's ideas are instructive for building socialism in China.Under the current changeable world environment,we should study deeply the combination of Ramo's new socialism theory and our country's national conditions,treat Ramo's new socialism with sublation attitude,and make the socialism theory more perfect.
