| This practice report is based on the English-Chinese consecutive interpreting and escort interpreting task done by the author for the 2nd China News Media Exchange Seminar of CIIE on July 15 th,2019.The task was given by Hongkong Kingwai Group.In this thesis,the author reviews the task process from the aspects of preparation,case study and conclusion.Based on the theory of functional text typology,the author mainly analyzes the problems of achievements in informative function and expressive function.Meanwhile,the author discusses the strategies and solutions to cope with these problems and provides the revision.By analyzing the interpreting process the author hopes to improve the interpretation knowledge and skills and lay a good foundation for the upcoming interpreting. |
