Abstract/Summary:
Having been created in 1971,the composition,Pastoral song of Tianshan,is one of the representative works of Yang Shaoyi,a Zhuang composer of Guangxi.His music shows a beautiful picture of imagination that Tianshan is magnificent and people there are singing and dancing.It also shows sense of hearing full of variety of musical tones and wide and bold melody.The ethnic music material of Xinjiang and technique of playing bassoon have been perfectly combined in the work,fully showing how our national music shines new aesthetic quality and new artistic life to the world through western media.The composition is the reproduction of rich and diversified knowledge for ethnic music in the modern heritage,not only boosting localization development of bassoon,but also providing new thought for inheriting and spreading the ethnic music culture of our country.After being published,the composition has been loved and played in variety of large-scale concert by many famous orchestral musician in China and abroad,such as Mr.Zhu Hengping from National Orchestra,Professor Liu Zhaolu from Shanghai Musical College,Professor Iwasaki-yong from Kyoto University,Japan.They all speak highly of the composition.Yang Minwang,a music critic,once said,"Yang Shaoyi’s Pastoral song of Tianshan,Shubert’s Serenade,and Winfried Otto Schumann’s Fantasia have been tasted really sweet" Therefore,the song has extraordinary influence and extremely valuable research value in the orchestra musical area.Based on its background,stylistic characteristic and playing technique,the dissertation makes a deep musicological analysis and research on its nationalization characteristics,deep cultural connotation and multiple valuable nature.
