Ravel is a very representative Impressionist composer of the twentieth century.Many of his band works reflect his superb instrumentation skills.He has also written many excellent piano works.Among these works,he is based on traditional European music.On the basis of this,it integrates its own individual music language and expresses rich pictures and vivid image content.He wrote two piano concertos throughout his life,one is a left-hand piano concerto,and the other is a piano major concert in G major.This article uses his piano major concert in G major as an analysis object to explore Rawey from the perspective of harmony.There are various creative thinking related to the use of harmony in this later work.This piano major concerto in G major is a work based on tonal harmony system,but the composer uses the complicated chord sound and non-functional harmony,and combines different methods to make the harmony function in the work This paper uses this as the main point of view to study how the Impressionist composer Ravel will weaken the functional harmony in this piano concerto.The full text is divided into five chapters:the first chapter introduces the composer’s creative characteristics in different periods and the creative background related to this work;the second chapter is an overview of the basic structure,explaining the main structure of each movement;the third chapter is the key relationship In the application of functional weakening,discuss the impact of bi-tonality,poly-tonality and medieval tone on the tonal system under the macro-tonal layout,and the impact on the functionality of the harmony;Chapter 4 Discusses the functional weakening of the harmony structure.This is the most core part of the full text.The focus is on the two sections of the expansion of the chord material and the delay of the way of the harmony.The fifth chapter mainly discusses the difference between the texture and the tone configuration.The way it is organized,with a secondary effect on functionality and sound attenuation.
