Purpose:To investigate the correlation between TCM syndromes of left and right colon cancer and age, sex, first symptom, histological differentiation, pathological type,TNM stage and distant metastasis.Material and method:This study used a retrospective analysis of collected between January 2016 and December 2019,94 patients of liaoning university of traditional Chinese medicine affiliated hospital oncology(47 cases of left colon cancer patients,47 patients with right half colon cancer),observe the signs and symptoms, summarizes left half colon cancer, type distribution of justification of right half colon cancer, with exact inspection or chi-square Pisher single factor analysis, analysis of the type and the age, sex, first symptoms, tissue differentiation, pathological type,TNM stage, the correlation of distant metastasis. The factors with statistical significance in univariate analysis were analyzed by multivariate regression analysis to explore the independent factors affecting syndrome type.Results:1.The distribution of five TCM syndrome types after colon cancer operation: Qi and blood deficiency syndrome > damp heat accumulation syndrome = qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome > spleen and kidney yang deficiency syndrome > liver and kidney yin deficiency syndrome;the distribution of five TCM syndrome types after left colon cancer operation:Damp heat accumulation syndrome > Qi and blood deficiency syndrome > qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome > spleen and kidney yang deficiency syndrome > liver and kidney yin deficiency syndrome;the distribution of five TCM syndrome types after right colon cancer operation: Qi and blood deficiency syndrome > qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome > liver and kidney yin deficiency syndrome Kidney yin deficiency syndrome > spleen kidney yang deficiency syndrome > damp heat accumulation syndrome.2.There was no significant difference in the distribution of TCM syndrome types of left colon cancer in age, gender, tissue differentiation and pathological type(P > 0.05);there was significant difference in the distribution of TCM Syndrome Types in TNM stage, first symptom and distant metastasis(P < 0.05);multivariate regression analysis showed that distant metastasis was an independent factor affecting spleen kidney yang deficiency syndrome.3.There was no significant difference in the distribution of TCM Syndrome Types in gender and pathological type of right colon cancer(P > 0.05);there were differences in the distribution of TCM Syndrome Types in age, tissue differentiation,TNM stage, first symptom and distant metastasis(P < 0.05);the single factor analysis showed that the first symptom and distant metastasis were the independent factors of Qi blood deficiency syndrome factor.Conclusion:1.The results showed that the main syndrome of colon cancer after operation was deficiency of both qi and blood, followed by damp heat accumulation syndrome,qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome, spleen and kidney yang deficiency syndrome, liver and kidney yin deficiency syndrome;the main TCM syndrome type of left colon cancer was damp heat accumulation syndrome, and the main TCM syndrome type of right colon cancer was deficiency of both qi and blood.2.The TCM syndrome types of left colon cancer after operation were correlated with TNM stage, first symptom and distant metastasis;the TCM syndrome types of right colon cancer after operation were correlated with age, tissue differentiation,TNM stage, first symptom and distant metastasis.3.Distant metastasis of left colon cancer increases the risk of spleen kidney yang deficiency syndrome. The more the first clinical symptoms of right colon cancer, the more likely it is to lead to deficiency of both qi and blood;distant metastasis is easy to increase the risk of deficiency of both qi and blood.
