ObjectiveThis article aims to organize and study the literature on the Chinese and foreign treatment methods of "Elbow Reserve Emergency Recipe"(hereinafter referred to as "Elbow Rear").And this article summarizes the main external treatment methods and explores the main points and common diseases of the external treatment methods in "Behind the Elbow",Comparing the similarities and differences of similar external treatment methods and analyze their characteristics.In order to objectively evaluate the influence of the external treatment method of "Elbow Rear" on the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties and future generations,and provide a reference for clinical application of external treatment method.MethodsThis research uses a combination of literature research and theoretical review.Collecting and sorting out the external treatment literature before "Elbow Rear",In order to summarize the main points of its treatment,compare the similarities and differences of the external treatment literature.Then from the longitudinal analysis of the relationship between the external treatment method in "Elbow Rear" and the external treatment method in the literature before "Elbow Rear",objectively evaluate the characteristics of the external treatment method in "Elbow Rear" and its impact on future generations.Results"Behind the Elbow" is the earliest existing monograph on first aid in China and the earliest existing monograph on Lingnan Chinese medicine.The diseases described in this book cover the internal,external,women,children,and facial features.In addition to oral administration,the book uses a large number of external treatments.The thesis systematically organizes the main external treatment methods,and the research results are divided into five chapters according to the content.The first chapter introduces Ge Hong's life,family background,and teacher inheritance.And the spreading,characteristics,and evaluation of future generations of "Behind the Elbow".The second chapter mainly collects and organizes the content of external treatment methods in the literature before "Elbow Behind".By selecting representative literature,divided into non-medical literature,unearthed literature and medical literature,excavating the content of external treatment law and analyzing its characteristics.The third chapter mainly organizes and summarizes the content of external treatment in"Behind the Elbow".This chapter selects the external treatment methods that appear frequently in the book,such as coating,ironing,washing,smoking,blowing,etc.,and summarizes the use points and characteristics of each external treatment,comparing the similarities and differences of similar external treatment methods.And at the same time,try to collect a unified summary of external treatment methods that occur less frequently.Chapter four explains the characteristics of external treatment in "Behind the Elbow",compares its relationship with the external treatment in the literature before "Elbow Behind",and explores academic sources.At the same time,explore the innovation of external treatment of "Elbow Rear";analyze its use characteristics.Chapter five analyzes the influence of external treatment of "Elbow Rear" on later generations.It opened the precedent of first aid in the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties and runs through the history of first aid techniques in the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties.It has been cited by many large-scale comprehensive prescriptions of later generations.Modern people combine it with science and technology and make innovative use.ConclusionThe external treatment method in "Behind the Elbow" inherits the essence of the external treatment method in the previous literature.Ge Hong also extensively collected folk external treatment methods and combined with his own medical experience to innovate,Fully emboding the characteristics of "simple,convenient,effective and cheap".It created a precedent for the simple prescription,which greatly facilitated the lives of the people,and was valued by future medical practitioners.It has a far-reaching impact on the development of external governance and has high academic and clinical value.
