Objective:In this study,we used Yiqi Fuyuan Gel combined with chemotherapy totreat patients with advanced gastric cancer of spleen qi deficiency type,and compared with the chemotherapy treatment group alone to observe the efficacy and safety indexes of the two groups and provide a basis for clinical application.Methods:Sixty-four inpatients who met the criteria of this study in the oncology ward of the Hunan Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine between December 2019 and December 2020 were selected and divided into observation and control groups according to the random number table method.The observation group was treated with Yiqi Fuyuan Gel combined with chemotherapy,and the control group was treated with chemotherapy alone,and the TCM evidence score,quality of life,overall efficiency and occurrence of adverse reactions of patients in both groups were observed,and data were compiled and statistically analyzed.Results:(1)Comparing the improvement of TCM symptoms in the two groups,the effective rate(significant improvement + partial improvement)was 78.13% in the test gr-oup and 53.13% in the control group,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P=0.036);(2)Comparing the KPS scores after treatment in th-e two groups,the difference was statistically significant(P=0.024);(3)Comparing the adverse reactions in the two groups,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant in bone marrow suppression and The difference between the two groups was statistically significant in bone marrow suppression and nausea and vomiting(P=0.011,P=0.010),in which the incidence of bone marrow suppression was 31.25% in the test group and 62.5% in the control group,and the incidence of nausea and vomiting was 25% in the test group and 56.25% in the control group,while the difference between the two groups in liver function injury,renal function injury and peripheral nerve injury was not statistically significant(P=0.446,P=0.317,P=0.686);(4)the objective efficacy evaluation of the two groups was compared,and the difference w-as not statistically significant(P=0.781).Conclusion:Yiqi Fuyuan Gel combined with mFOLFOX6 regimen chemotherapy for patients with advanced gastric cancer with spleen qi deficiency evidence can improve their TCM clinical symptoms,improve the quality of life,and reduce the occurrence of bone marrow suppression and nausea and vomiting,but there is no significant advantage in objective efficacy,liver and kidney function damage,and peripheral nerve damage.
