Objective:To observe the clinical effect of warming acupuncture at Beishu point on sub-health people with Yang deficiency.Methods:40 patients who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into group A and group B,with 20 cases in each group,including 1 case in group A and 1 case in group B.Group A was treated with warm needling back Shu Points Combined with healthy lifestyle intervention,while group B was treated with simple healthy lifestyle intervention.Warm acupuncture once a day,continuous acupuncture for 6 days,rest for 1 day,2 weeks as a course of treatment,continuous treatment for 2 courses;simple healthy lifestyle intervention from diet,exercise,psychology,alcohol and tobacco or other aspects.Before and after treatment,patients in both groups filled in Yang deficiency sub scale,sub-health Cornell Medical Index Health Questionnaire(CMI)and blood samples were taken to check the level of serum adrenocorticotropic hormone(ACTH).Before and after treatment,the symptom score of Yang deficiency sub scale,CMI comprehensive score and serum ACTH level were observed,and the curative effect was evaluated.Results:1.After treatment,the symptom scores of Yang deficiency in both groups were significantly improved(P<0.01),and the symptom scores of Yang deficiency in group A were significantly improved than those in group B(P<0.05).2.After treatment,the sub-health CMI comprehensive score of the two groups decreased significantly(P<0.01),and the difference between group A and group B was statistically significant(P<0.01).3.After treatment,the serum ACTH levels of the two groups were significantly higher than before(P<0.01).The serum ACTH level of group A was significantly higher than that of group B(P<0.01).4.The clinical effective rate of group A was significantly better than that of group B(P<0.05).5.There were no adverse events in the two groups during the treatment.Conclusion:Warming acupuncture at Beishu point has definite clinical effect on sub-health of Yang deficiency,compared with the simple healthy lifestyle intervention group,it has more advantages in improving the Yang deficiency symptoms,CMI comprehensive score and serum ACTH level of the subhealth group.
