Objective:Benign prostatic hyperplasia is clinically characterized by frequent urination, urgency, and progressive dysuria, which seriously affects the quality of life and health status of elderly men. Therefore,it is of great significance to actively seek a safe and effective treatment. This topic studies a non-drug and non-chemical therapy. The method is simple and easy to implement, and it has quick results. The main purpose is to observe the effect comparison between warm acupuncture for benign prostatic hyperplasia(kidney yang deficiency type)and oral western medicine,to clarify the mechanism of warm acupuncture for benign prostatic hyperplasia(kidney yang deficiency type),and to explain the mechanism of warm acupuncture for benign prostatic hyperplasia(kidney yang deficiency). The clinical research and application of dysfunction(kidney yang deficiency type)provide a certain basis. Methods: The 72 patients who met the indication of benign prostatic hyperplasia(kidney yang deficiency type)were randomly divided into two groups, the treatment group and the control group,36 cases in each group, and the treatment group was treated with warm acupuncture once a day, five times a week.Weekend rest,a week as a course of treatment, four consecutive courses of treatment, the control group was treated with oral western medicine(Paul),once a day,1 tablet each time, with or without food.Patients are not allowed to take other drugs that are effective in treating the main disease during treatment.1 week as a course of treatment,4 courses of treatment after observation of the efficacy, two groups of pre-treatment and treatment at the end of the international prostate symptom score(I-PSS),quality of life(QOL)data. The SPSS22.0 version of software is used to analyze all the collected data statistically, and the counting data is X2 tested;the quantitative data is expressed in the form of mean ± standard deviation, and the normality test is carried out.If the P> is 0.1,the inter-group comparison is tested by independent sample t,the intra-group comparison is tested by paired sample(t' test when the variance is not uniform),and the non-parametric test is used instead.P<0.05 was statisticallysignificant. Results:A total of 72 patients(36 cases in the treatment group, and 6 cases fell off;36cases in the control group and 6 cases fell off).Clinical observations show that the total effective rate of warm acupuncture is 90%.The total effective rate of oral western medicine therapy was 80% P=0.038 < 0.05.This shows that warm acupuncture is better than oral western medicine in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia(Deficiency of Kidney Yang). Conclusion: Treatment group and control group in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia(kidney yang deficiency type)on I-PSS,QOL,urine residue, clinical efficacy, and warm acupuncture group is better than oral Baoli treatment, but in the improvement of prostate volume, oral western medicine group is effective, but the control group has little effect.Warm acupuncture is effective in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia(kidney yang deficiency type). At the same time, warm acupuncture therapy is safe and effective, can alleviate symptoms, improve quality of life,no toxic side effects, can be popularized to clinical practice,as one of the effective methods to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia(kidney yang deficiency type).
