Clinical Study Of Shenrong Husui Recipe In The Treatment Of Tumor-related Anemia (Qi And Blood Deficiency Syndrome)

Objective:To evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of ginseng antler and marrow protecting prescription in the treatment of tumor-associated anemia(deficiency of both qi and blood syndrome),so as to provide reference for its clinical application and promotion.Methods:In a prospective and randomized controlled study,60 patients with tumor-associated anemia were randomly divided into experimental group(n = 30)and control group(n = 30).The experimental group was treated with Shenrong Huisui decoction and the control group was treated with Danggui Buxue decoction for 8weeks.TCM syndrome score and KPS score were evaluated before and after treatment,and followed up before treatment,4th week and 8th week respectively.The curative effect index(hemoglobin level)and safety monitoring index(electrocardiogram,defecation routine,liver function,renal function,myocardial zymogram and adverse reactions)were recorded.Results:(1)Both groups could increase hemoglobin,but the curative effect of the test group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).(2)The KPS score was improved in the experimental group,but there was no significant improvement in the KPS score in the control group(P>0.05).(3)The score of TCM syndrome could be improved in both groups,but the score in the experimental group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).(4)Compared with those before treatment,there were no obvious abnormal changes in general signs,electrocardiogram,routine defecation,liver and kidney function,myocardial enzymes and electrolytes in the two groups.In terms of adverse events,a very small number of patients in the trial group had oral ulcers and dry stools,which did not affect medication,and there were no obvious adverse reactions related to medication.Conclusion:Ginseng antler pulp protection prescription can effectively improve the clinical syndrome of patients with tumor-associated anemia(deficiency of both qi and blood syndrome),improve the quality of life,and can improve hemoglobin,have good safety,which is worthy of further clinical application.
