Observation Of Curative Effect Of Tonifying Spleen And Nourishing Qi Combined With 0.01% Atropine Eye Drops On Mild Myopia In Adolescents

Objective:In order to investigate the efficacy and safety of Bupi Yiqi method combined with 0.01%atropine eye drops in children and adolescents with mild myopia Method:We collected 64 cases of children and adolescents with mild myopia(spleen deficiency and Qi deficiency type)from the ophthalmology clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of traditional Chinese medicine.They were randomly divided into control group(31 cases,58 eyes)and treatment group(33 cases,62 eyes).The control group was treated with eye health education,optometry and atropine 0.01%eye drops daily.The treatment group was treated with Jianpi Yiqi Decoction on the basis of the treatment of the control group.After three months of regular treatment,the changes of the best naked far vision,refraction and systemic symptoms of the two groups were observed.SPSS 26.0 software was used to analyze the results.Result:1.Among the 64 participants(120 eyes),there were 16 females(51.6%)in the control group,mean(SD)aged 12.35(2.36)years,and 15 females(45.5%)in the treatment group,mean(SD)aged 12.42(2.38)years.Before treatment,the control group had an axial length of 24.12±0.31mm,diopter of-1.69± 0.67d,and uncorrected distant visual acuity(LogMAR)of 0.45 ± 0.18;the treatment group had an axial length of 24.22 ±0.33mm,diopter of-1.90± 0.79d,and uncorrected distant visual acuity(LogMAR)of 0.49 ± 0.20.There was no significant difference in clinical symptoms between the two groups(P>0.05).2.SE:After treatment,the control group increased-0.10 ± 0.15D,the treatment group increased-0.09 ± 0.15D,there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).3.Uncorrected distant visual acuity(LogMAR):After treatment,the visual acuity of the control group decreased by 0.03 ± 0.05,and the visual acuity of the treatment group increased by 0.1 ± 0.09,with statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05).4.Clinical symptoms:After treatment,the symptoms of blurred vision and unsustainable vision were improved in both groups(P<0.05),but the effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.01);The control group had no significant improvement in mental fatigue and anorexia(P>0.05),while the treatment group had significant improvement in mental fatigue and anorexia(P<0.05),and the effect of the treatment group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.01).5.Evaluation of curative effect:Visual effect:the effective rate of the control group was 0.0%,and the effective rate of the treatment group was 37.1%,with statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.0001).Symptom efficacy:the effective rate of the control group was 12.9%,and that of the treatment group was 81.8%,with statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.0001).6.No serious adverse reactions were reported in the treatment group and the control group.Conclusion:Bupi Yiqi method combined with 0.01%atropine eye drops can improve the distant vision of children and adolescents with myopia,and improve the clinical symptoms of blurred vision,unsustainable vision,mental fatigue,lack of appetite,etc.,but it can not completely control the progression of refraction.The safety of Bupi Yiqi method combined with 0.01%atropine eye drops in the treatment of myopia in children and adolescents is good.
