Clinical Observation Of Zhang's Baicao Ointment Reformed Into Gel Combined With Ultrasonic Conductivity Transmission In The Treatment Of Knee Arthralgia

Objective To observe the clinical effect for externally treating knee osteoarthropathy(KOA)through Zhangshi-Baicao cataplasm with ultrasound transm-ission conductance.Method The patients with KOA,according to the principle of random,were divided into the group Of Zhangshi-Baicao cataplasm with ultrasound transm-ission conductance(Experimental group),the group of diclofenac diethylamine gel(Positive drug group),and the group of traditional Zhangshi-Baicao plaster(Traditional plaster group).The VAS pain scores,the WOMAC scores and the safety evaluation were compared among three groups before the treatment,and after 1-week,2-week,and 4-week treatment.Result The VAS pain score and the WOMAC score of each group decreased significantly after treatment(P<0.05).The WOMAC score of Experimental group had a significant difference with that of Traditional plaster group at each time point(P<0.05),meaning the treatment of Zhangshi-Baicao cataplasm with ultrasound transmission conductance had a better clinical curative effect than that of traditional Zhangshi-Baicao plaster.The VAS score and the WOMAC score of Experimental group also had a significant difference with the scores of Positive drug group after 4-week treatment(P<0.05),meaning the treatment of Zhangshi-Baicao cataplasm with ultrasound transmission conductance had a longer duration.Experimental group effectiveness surpasses Traditional plaster group obviously,Positive drug group similarly,meaning the treatment of Zhangshi-Baicao cataplasm with ultrasound transmission had a better effect.Only one patient in group A had local skin changes.On other hand,5 patients in group B,and 27 patients in group C,meaning the treatment of Zhangshi-Baicao cataplasm with ultrasound transmission conductance was safer.Conclusion Above all had shown the external treatment of KOA in the early and medium stage.with Zhangshi-Baicao cataplasm with ultrasound transmission conductance is an efficient,long duration and safe external therapy for the KOA treating.
