Chimonobambusa utilis belongs to Chimonobambusa,Bambusoideae,Poaceae of woody bamboos.The bamboo shoots are high quality products.The bamboo material is also used for many purposes.It is a dual-purpose bamboo with high economic value.This article observes and studies the anatomical structure of the roots,stems,leaves,flowers and fruits of Chimonobambusa utilis.The main results are as follows:(1)The higher the root level and bamboo age of Chimonobambusa utilis,the greater the cell thickness of a part of the root.From the perspective of root level,the diameter,epidermal thickness,peripheral fibrous tissue thickness and the diameter and number of epigenetic ducts of the roots with air cavity at level 4 are larger than those without air cavity at level 1.From the perspective of bamboo age,the thickness of older bamboo cells and the area of the root cap area are larger than those of younger bamboos.The root diameter,epidermal thickness,peripheral fibrous tissue thickness,cortical thickness and the diameter of the epigenetic duct of 1.5-year-old are larger than those of current year bamboo,but the air cavity was smaller than that of current growth.(2)The early reticular structure of the bamboo shoots is not obvious.There are fewer fibers around the vascular bundles.The nuclei are also less distributed,and a fibrous cap near the pulp is not formed;With smaller cells and a distinct reticular pattern,the epidermis and cortex of the metaphase of the shoot are deeply stained.And the nuclei are densely distributed with a majority in the center of cell.At this time,the shoot is less lignified,yet the fibrous cap had not become a fiber of dead cells,which has a better quality;In the late stage of bamboo shoots,the fiber structure is obvious,and the nuclei are mainly distributed at the edge of the cell.The fibrous cap cell wall near the epidermis is relatively thick,and the fibrous cap cell wall near the medulla is closely arranged and regular.At this time,the bamboo shoots have been lignified.With the quality is reduced,the fiber cap gradually also became the fiber of dead cells.(3)The internal structure of Chimonobambusa utilis leaves of different bamboo ages was relatively small,but it was obviously different from flowering leaves.Mainly,the indexes such as thickness of epidermal cells and mechanical tissues,catheter diameter,and cross-sectional area of vascular bundles were lower than than those of non-flowering leaves,and these differences may provide an anatomical basis for the prediction of flowering.(4)Cutting the ovary and fruit of Chimonobambusa utilis longitudinally,we found that the thickness of the two sides is different.The thicker side of the ovary wall at the flower bud stage is 122.72?m,and the other is 90.90?m;When the ovary develops as a young fruit,the thicker ventral surface thickness is 535.83?m and the back thickness is 226.98?m;When it developed a ripe fruits,the ventral surface of the peel was 1531.98?m,and the other was 969.47?m.Therefore,the thickness of the ovary wall or peel in the latter stage is about 2 to 4 times that of the previous stage.(5)The anatomical structure of the leaves and fruits of Chimonobambusa utilis was quite different from the same genus of Chimonobambusa hejiangensis and angustifolia,which showed that the boundary with them was obvious.It can provided an anatomical basis for classification.
