Jilin Province is one of the main potato-producing areas in China.As the strategic object of main grain production,potato industry plays a huge development potential in the agricultural production structure of Jilin Province,which has profound significance for the overall economic development of Jilin Province.Therefore,in order to reasonably utilize the natural resources of Jilin Province and optimize the layout of potato planting in Jilin Province,it is of great significance to transform the limited natural resource sample point data into continuous area data for zoning analysis,and combine the zoning theory with computer technology organically,so as to carry out the research on the ecological suitability zoning of potato planting in Jilin Province Based on GIS.Based on the terrain and physiognomy data,meteorological data,soil mechanical composition and physical and chemical characteristics data of Jilin Province as the evaluation criteria layer of potato planting suitability,combined with previous research results and actual production data,the altitude,slope,slope direction,mountain shelter,average air temperature during the growth period,temperature difference between day and night in July and August,precipitation during the growth period,sunshine hours during the growth period,and active accumulated temperature of ?10? were selected,average temperature in July,precipitation from July to August,sand content,silt content,clay content,soil p H value,organic matter content,available potassium content,alkali hydrolyzed nitrogen content,and available phosphorus content were used as the index variables to construct the ecological suitability evaluation index system of potato planting in Jilin Province.Through the combination of expert scoring and analytic hierarchy process to determine the weight of zoning indicators;AHP weighted PCA method was used to evaluate the topography,climate and soil factors of potato planting.GIS technology was used to analyze the spatial distribution characteristics of the ecological environment in the study area.The agricultural natural resources in Jilin Province were evaluated comprehensively.The ecological suitability of potato planting in Jilin Province was divided into the most suitable,suitable,sub suitable and unsuitable four grades Suitability.The main conclusions are as follows:The most suitable area for potato planting ecology in Jilin Province is mainly distributed in the central plain and hilly area,accounting for 42.09% of the total area;the suitable area is mainly distributed in the central and Western Songliao plain area,accounting for 22.24% of the total area;the sub suitable area is mainly distributed in the middle and Eastern low mountain area,accounting for 33.48% of the total area;the unsuitable area is mainly distributed in the Changbai Mountain,Dunhua City and other high mountain areas,accounting for 2.19% of the total area.The results of the division were compared with the potato planting situation in Jilin Province,which verified the rationality of the above division methods.The results of the study can provide reference for potato planting production layout and base construction in Jilin Province.
