The serious warnings of resource disasters and climate change have made the development of alternative,sustainable and clean energy sources considered the most important goal in the world today.Nanogenerator(NG)is a nano-scale energy harvesting device that can convert mechanical energy from the external environment into electrical energy.At the same time,it has also been proven to be a simple,low-cost,stable,and efficient way to collect mechanical energy.Because nanogenerators use toxic organic solvents in the preparation process,and the organic materials used will affect people's health,it is easy to cause harm to the environment and the human body,and it is difficult for nanogenerators to have direct contact with the human body.Especially in baby products.The next generation of portable and intelligent electronic systems will be biodegradable,biocompatible,elastic and flexible to ensure that they are closely integrated with environmental health and the human body.This work studies the green degradability and edibility of nanogenerators.First of all,we proposed and designed a triboelectric nanogenerator prepared by electrospinning technology using Carboxymethyl chitosan and sodium Carboxymethyl cellulose.It adopts a double-electrode structure,which is quickly dissolved in water and is green and edible.Carboxymethyl chitosan is a water-soluble chitosan derivative with many characteristics,such as strong antibacterial properties,fresh-keeping effect,and an amphoteric polyelectrolyte.Sodium carboxymethyl cellulose is a carboxymethylated derivative of cellulose.It is the most important ionic cellulose gum.Because of its gelling effect,it is good for food to form a better gel,so it can be used for manufacturing jelly and jam,it can also be used as an edible coating material,used in combination with other thickeners,and applied to the surface of some foods,which can keep the food fresh to the greatest extent,and because it is an edible material,it is healthy for the human body and will not cause adverse effects.Through the acute systemic toxicity test of ICR mice on the two friction materials,its edibility is shown.It can be used in baby products to reduce the hazards after being eaten by infants.More importantly,it has proposed an idea that the application of edible nanogenerators will go far beyond these.In the future,based on edible nanogenerators more applications can be designed.In addition,we designed an edible nanogenerator using Polycaprolactone(PCL)and Polylactic acid(PLA).When the external impact frequency is 1Hz,its output voltage can reach 30 V,and the output current can reach 400 n A.PCL has good biocompatibility,good compatibility with organic polymers,and good biodegradability.It can be used as a cell growth support material and is compatible with a variety of conventional plastics.It can be completely degraded within 6-12 month in natural environments.PLA is a new type of biodegradable material,which is made from the starch raw materials proposed by renewable plant resources(such as corn).It has good biodegradability and is also widely used in the field of medicine.For example,it can be produced once sexual infusion equipment,disassembly-free surgical sutures.Because the nanogenerator has the characteristics of green,degradable,and bio-compatible,coupled with the increase in instantaneous output power density,the application of edible nanogenerators can be more widely used.The research on edible nanogenerators will be more and more sufficient.
