After the development of almost one third of century,Netherlands MVRDV Architectural Firm(hereinafter referred to as MVRDV),has developed from a unknown construction organization into an internationally well-known architectural firm nowadays.They break the conventional design concepts,use the unique design means of combining digital technology with the material construction,so as to cross the architectural appearance and explore the potential connections between the buildings and urban space,and predict the building developement in the urban space on this basis,which is of significant pioneer color.In this paper,the translational research of MVRDV datascape was mainly deemed as the research object.Fist of all,a comprehensive analysis of methods and features of translation was made from three aspects,i.e.datascape translation phenomenon source,translation path and the application in the practical cases;secondly,from the subject of digital construction and diagram generation of the translation,and by taking the experimental design as the starting point,other possible design means were extended based on the previous studies and understandings and then transformed into practice,so as to create the experimental design of digital construction and diagram translational space;finally,in the conclusion part,consideration and summary,inspiration and revelation,introspection and prospect were reached towards MVRDV datascape translational research from the level of theoretical exploration and design of experiment.Through the above explorations and experiments,it is necessary to grasp the conflicts and development generated from architecture when facing the change of technology of the age,reflect the value on the border-crossing research between architecture and other disciplines,and supplement and consummate the existing studies on MVRDV,to further provide a reference for creation of domestic architectures.
