In the current era,there are greatly developed culture and art,constantly innovated dramatic art and scientific technologies,diversified dramatic forms and rich forms of stage space.In the artistic environment where all flowers bloom together,French dramatist Antonin Artaud kept strong influence in his artistic creations and dramatic theories.His Theatre of Cruelty broke through the shackles of actors’ lines in traditional dramas but adopted an innovative method of deduction dominated by body languages;the cruelty deduced by theatres is mentally and physically tortures like a kind of pestilence.The overall stage decoration weakened the gap between actors and audiences and closed the distance between them,and the interactions between actors and audiences created an immersive dramatic experience and exerted a deep influence on the development of avant-garde dramatic art of later generations.In virtue of Alvar Aalto’s concepts of dramatic art and taking Aalto’s creations or the films and television works that Aalto participated in directly as the object of research,this paper analyzes the connotations of Alvar Aalto’s dramatic art from the perspective of dramatic experience,clarifies the methods adopted by Alvar Aalto to create stage space.Besides,through analyzing and researching the paintings,architectures,films and dramas related to stage design,this paper determines the themes of stage space and constructs the experimental designs taking the artistic methods such as “inversion”,“blanking” and “folding”.
