The form development of contemporary city shopping center is the typical reason that fiber art extends to contemporary urban commercial space.Under the impact of online e-commerce platform,large shopping center space urgently needs to use art such as fiber art as media to attract consumer groups by breaking away from the similarity or repetition in form and creating more diversified and more personalized characteristic services to meet the current public’s higher pursuit of cultural consumption and spiritual consumption.In this context,through the characteristics of fiber art language and related concepts and theories of urban shopping center,according to the application advantages of fiber art form in space design,this paper carries out art design practice for public space of urban shopping center.Secondly,by mastering the characteristics of fiber art and the application form in space design of large shopping center,the characteristics and advantages of fiber art in space design are analyzed in depth.By using the design methods of manual production and computer modeling,this paper combines fiber art with the functional principles of large shopping centers,and explores the way to transform fiber art into spatial functionality.It is not only beneficial to improve the application value of fiber art,but also to show the uniqueness of large shopping center design.Finally,the research of this topic has a positive significance for expanding the creative field and media language of fiber art,and constructing the commercial aesthetics of contemporary urban shopping center space.
