In recent years,with the development needs of national construction and the policy orientation of " the Belt and Road Initiatives",the investment and construction of power stations in China have been continuously expanding and building to developing countries such as Tibet and Southeast Asia.In these areas,most power grids are immature and weak most power grid are immature weak power grid(i.e.,have not formed the effective unified power grid).Compared with the total installed capacity of the local power grid,the installed capacity of the power station invested and constructed in China often accounts for a larger proportion,and the switching on and off of power plant units is likely to have a substantial impact on the power grid.A serious situation may even cause the grid to be disconnected and cause large-scale losses.At the same time,there are also obvious differences in the requirements for power plant units between the weak power grids and domestic mature large power grids.The instability of the weak power grid will also put more demands on the selection of unit equipment.This article first describes the development of the kingdom of Cambodia's power grid,power grid planning,power construction,power supply construction,and power consumption,combined with the local status quo,analyzed the current problems in the Cambodian power grid,the method of distinguishing the stability of Cambodia's power grid and power plant units was studied and explained,and the theoretical research foundation was established.Under the background of the weak power grid in Cambodia.We take the Cambodia SeSan2 hydropower station as the specific research object,we studies the unit under weak power grid power factor,flywheel moment of hydro generator,bulb ration,etc.unit important parameters such as selection,and the main parameters influenced the stability of the power grid of the comprehensive analysis and research,from the hydro-generator itself structure parameters selection,the "hardware" such as the stability control,it is concluded that the bulb turbine units can better adapt to the weak power of Cambodia,methods,and through the establishment of the network-machine coupling calculation model of the SeSan2 hydropower station,the static and dynamic stability of the unit were simulated and the feasibility and correctness of the parameter selection were verified.Finally,the paper analyzes the oscillation and power flow of Cambodia's power grid by calculating the stability of small interference in frequency domain and large interference in time domain,and finds out the appropriate measures to stabilize the voltage of Cambodia's power grid by studying the application of power system stabilizer(PSS)and low-voltage reactor of the SeSan2 hydropower station.From the “passive” adaptation of the units to the active adjustment and improvement of the stability of the Cambodian power grid,it not only more effectively guarantees the stability of the SeSan2 hydropower station's units,but also makes a positive contribution to the stable development of the entire grid.In the research process of the Cambodia SeSan2 hydropower station,we continue to deeply understand the overall design of hydropower stations under weak grids and the application of unit equipment.Put forward effective measures to maintain the stability of the power grid,so that the unit can better adapt to the development of the power grid,so as to achieve the goal of safe and stable power supply,but also improve the economic benefits of the enterprise.
