Application And Research Of Virtual Reality Technology In Industrial Design Teaching

China's education reform has not stopped since the founding of the People's Republic of China.It has continuously introduced new educational concepts,new educational forms,and other aspects to develop teaching,constantly absorb advanced science and technology,and continuously upgrade teaching.Equipment to increase the richness of the classroom.Now that education has entered the information age,traditional teaching models and systems need to introduce new technologies for further development.Virtual reality technology has brought new vitality to classroom teaching with its immersive,interactive,and imaginative characteristics.The main research contents of this article are:(1)Research on the introduction of virtual reality technology.According to the characteristics of virtual reality technology,the application of existing virtual reality technology is classified and analyzed,and the development trend of virtual reality technology is analyzed according to the application of existing virtual reality technology at home and abroad.(2)Research on teaching mode.Through the research on the overview of teaching mode and the status quo of teaching modes at home and abroad,the mode of industrial design teaching is explored.Based on the investigation of industrial design teaching mode and the investigation and analysis of industrial design teaching mode by teachers and students,the teaching of industrial design is proposed.The development and prospect of the model,and analyze the application of virtual reality technology in industrial design teaching.(3)Analysis and research on the composition of virtual teaching scenes.The basic components of the virtual teaching scene are determined through an overview study of the virtual teaching scene,and each part is researched and analyzed according to the characteristics of the teaching mode.(4)Teaching application of virtual reality system.Take the course of "Mechanical Design Fundamentals" in industrial design as an example,design a virtual teaching system on a virtual teaching interface,and build a teaching scene in a virtual environment according to the designed teaching system.In this way,it can solve the problems of insufficient practical opportunities,slow updating of teaching aids,and high teaching costs in the current industrial design teaching,and increase the teaching quality and interest of industrial design teaching.
