As the saying goes,"Home is a warm harbor." This should represent two layers of meaning.The first floor is that the family can give warmth,and the second layer is to express that "home" is as stable and safe as the harbor.This second layer obviously means people's understanding of "home",that is,architecture.Such words as "stable" and "safe" have been people's natural understanding of architecture for a long time,but in today's fast-paced urban life,people tend to have a special preference for "action"-young people now no longer rush home after work,but take two or three friends into the vast urban nightlife.When we have two days off on weekends,there will always be a family going to the suburbs in an RV to have a look at the scenery of the fields.In fact,people's pursuit of "movement" has been transformed into the demand for "movement".Then,as a building in people's daily environment,it has ushered in a new trend of its development and change,that is,kinetic architecture.In fact,kinetic architecture is far from as young as people think.Even in the era when architecture is "practical,solid and beautiful",the design concept of kinetic architecture has begun to sprout.Next,this thesis will start from the source of the concept of kinetic architecture,a more in-depth study of kinetic architecture.The first chapter is the introduction,which mainly includes the research background and basis,research purpose and significance,related research review at home and abroad,as well as research framework and research methods.The second chapter is the traceability of the concept of kinetic architecture.by dividing the four periods of time before the first Industrial Revolution,from the first Industrial Revolution to the second Industrial Revolution,from the second World War to the third Industrial Revolution,and from the later period of the third Industrial Revolution to Industry 4.0,this thesis analyzes and summarizes the application and research of kinetic architecture concept according to the characteristics of the times in different periods.Thus we can understand the historical context of the development of kinetic architectural concept.The third chapter is the research on the classification and performance characteristics of kinetic architecture,which mainly summarizes the classification of kinetic architecture by different scholars,and puts forward a more complete classification standard.At the same time,some basic performance characteristics of kinetic architecture are summarized according to the relevant cases of kinetic architecture.The fourth chapter is the research on the design principles and realization means of kinetic architecture,which defines the design principles of kinetic architecture from four aspects: basic movement mode,movement speed,mass or weight,scale and complexity.at the same time,it summarizes the realization means of movable elements related to mechanical motion,which sets a prerequisite for kinetic architectural design.The fifth chapter is the research on the kinetic architectural design method,including the generation of the design scheme,the verification of the rationality of the design support memory,a more complete description of the kinetic architectural design method process.The sixth chapter is the research of kinetic architectural scheme design,which carries on the kinetic architectural design from the site conditions,design concept,architectural form,change mode and the whole process of application technology,which provides the design practice results for the kinetic architectural research.The seventh chapter is the conclusion,which summarizes the relevant research results of the previous article,and points out the shortcomings of the research and makes a bold prospect for the future development of kinetic architecture.
