Abstract/Summary:
With the development of the times, people’s needs for a better life are increasing.Chinese families are paying more and more attention to the environmental quality of early childhood education and kindergartens.People are willing to invest high costs in early childhood education, hoping that young children will get a good body and mind in a better environment.development of.At present, the design level of living space for kindergartens in China is uneven. Not only is it affected by the scale of construction and financial support, but the degree of attention paid by the builders to children is also different.According to the terminology and usage regulations in the industry standard 2019"Code for the Design of Nursery and Kindergarten Buildings," the living room in the kindergarten is a space for children’s class life and multifunctional activities, that is,a space for children’s activities.Preschool children aged 3-6 years are an important period of psychological and physical development. They have fast growth speed, strong activity ability, and behavioral and psychological development have obvious age characteristics.Young children have a long life in full-day kindergartens, have rich activities,a wide range of behaviors, and a wide range of psychological cognition needs. As a place for children’s daily life, the living room space environment is the "third place" for children in addition to the two teachers in the class.Teachers "play an important role in children’s physical and mental development, and play an important media role in children’s perception and understanding of the world. Therefore, when designing the space for kindergarten living rooms, children’s behavioral characteristics and psychological needs should be studied, the interaction between children and the space environment in the process of activities should be thoroughly understood, and the behavioral psychology of children should be connected with the space design for kindergarten living rooms.Create a good space environment for young children to enjoy playing and promote behavioral and psychological development in the process of playing. The space design research of this article is based on the children’s behavioral psychological needs.Firstly,it reviews the related theories of kindergarten living rooms, children’s behavior and psychology, and elaborates the macro and micro factors that affect children’s behavior development, and children’s cognitive psychological development. The characteristics and rules of reasoning, inferring the logical relationship between the psychological development of the behavior and the space environment, analyzing the factors affecting the space design of living rooms in kindergartens, and providing further theoretical guidance for the study.Secondly, using the cases of many excellent kindergartens at home and abroad, the role of each space design feature in promoting the development of children’s behavioral psychology and the limitations of the design are put forward. The dregs are used to extract the best of them.Combined with the information from the visits, the children’s activities in the day are summarized and analyzed Based on the guidance of behavioral trends and psychological needs in the living room space of kindergartens, this article summarizes the current status of the development of living space design in domestic and foreign kindergartens under the influence of the concept of preschool education.Thirdly, using the cross-disciplinary research method, that is,interdisciplinary research method, combined with environmental literature, applied psychology, infant psychology and other related literature,to study the relationship between infant psychology, behavior and living space in kindergartens, and analyze different spatial layouts and scales. The spatial design elements of color, material, lighting, and acoustic environment affect children’s behavior and psychology, and explain the spatial characteristics of children’s physical and mental development. On the basis of theoretical research, the author proposes five principles for the spatial design of the layout, dimensions, colors, materials, lighting, and acoustic environment of the living room in the kindergarten(safety, guidance, fun, regionality,Education and fun)and construction strategies, and put forward the viewpoint of paying attention to children’s behavioral psychological changes, respecting the differentiated needs of children’s personality development and the need for independent guidance and autonomous play, and promote their growth through the impact on children’s behavioral psychology. Finally, the research results of this article are summarized, and the outlook for the future interior space design of the kindergarten is put forward. It is hoped that designers will pay attention to the children’s behavioral psychological needs and development characteristics when conducting space design, and explore a comfortable, pleasant and safe kindergarten life The room space design method creates a better kindergarten living room space for the healthy development of children’s body and mind.
