Under the supply-side reform,the iron and steel industry has become a key target of reform due to its overcapacity and serious pollution.However,many companies fail to choose an appropriate asset divestiture method according to their own strategies and resource scenarios,or fail to formulate effective follow-up resource allocation measures after asset divestiture,resulting in unsatisfactory divestiture results.Most of the existing research focuses on the motivation and economic consequences of asset divestiture,and there is little background on the choice of different asset divestiture methods for different companies,the operational focus of different asset divestiture methods,different asset divestiture methods and follow-up different resource allocation measures,and different asset divestiture methods and follow-up.A study of the impact of resource allocation measures on corporate strategic performance.This paper uses the classification standard of generalized asset divestiture methods,takes Shandong Iron and Steel Co.,Ltd.and Hangzhou Iron and Steel Co.,Ltd.as the research objects,and analyzes the implementation background,implementation process and specific measures of different asset divestiture methods based on the enterprise strategy and resource situation under the supply-side reform.,different ways of asset divestiture have different impacts on corporate strategic performance,and finally construct different impact paths of corporate strategic performance.The study found that enterprises lack funds to support transformation and upgrading strategies,and existing inferior assets drag down the development of enterprises.They choose asset sales methods to quickly obtain funds to invest in key areas of transformation and upgrading,thereby improving corporate strategic performance;Assets and idle assets at the same time,choose the asset replacement method to effectively integrate the high-quality assets placed with the original assets,promote transformation and upgrading,and achieve the improvement of corporate strategic performance.Therefore,iron and steel enterprises should choose an appropriate asset divestiture method according to their own strategies and resource situations when they divest assets,pay attention to the asset divestiture process and strengthen the effective allocation of subsequent resources to improve the strategic performance of the enterprise.The research has practical guiding significance for enriching the relevant research on asset divestiture and scientifically selecting asset divestiture methods for iron and steel enterprises to improve strategic performance.
