As an important part of high-end machining center and gantry machine tool,tool magazine and automatic tool changing device are mainly used to store the tool and replace the tool handle with the spindle during the machining process of the main machine.They are very important functional parts of the machining center.This paper mainly studies the design and construction of the performance testing and reliability test bench,the accuracy diagnosis of the tool handle in place,the test of the pulling force,the spring reliability,and the reliability test and evaluation of the tool magazine,taking the chain tool magazine and the automatic tool changing device as objects.The main results obtained in this paper are as follows:In chain tool magazine and automatic tool change device performance test and reliability test rig design and build,based on the tool magazine operation characteristics and fault types,determine the main test content is the handle in position precision,tool magazine vibration,air pressure,motor current signal,and then respectively set up on the host field and laboratory test bench can test the performance of the tool storage and automatic tool change device performance test and reliability test rig,and completed the bench test pieces of key support stress checking,to support the tool magazine can be long-term performance monitoring and reliability test.For diagnosis,the handle in position precision is put forward based on the integration of empirical mode decomposition and kernel principal component analysis with the combination of automatic tool change device state vibration signal characteristic information extraction method,the method of the core idea is: the vibration signal collection empirical mode decomposition to get the intrinsic mode function components,and calculate the amount of energy entropy,and then using kernel principal component analysis to energy entropy and timedomain eigenvalue for information fusion,and to integrate data after fusion as the feature vector.On this basis,support vector machine is used to evaluate and diagnose the running state of tool magazine.The test results show that compared with the time domain eigenvalue or energy entropy eigenvalue,the accuracy of tool changing device in position accuracy grade diagnosis can be greatly improved by using the vibration characteristic of signal fusion.In dial tool force spring testing and reliability analysis,first of all,based on the handle stress analysis are to prevent the handle tool,not inserted tool,unable to dial the tool,tool set under the condition of the internal locking spring pre-tightening force shall meet the conditions,secondly,constructs the dial tool of each stage in the process of the blade force mapping relationship with spring pre-tightening force,was designed and developed to a sword out force test device,verify the correctness of the above relationship.In addition,the spring fatigue testing machine was used to test the locking spring inside the tool sleeve,and the change of spring length with the number of tool changes was studied.In terms of tool magazine reliability test and evaluation,first of all,respectively designed at the scene of the host and reliability test plan on the laboratory bench,and then carried out a large number of reliability test,got the handle in position precision,such as vibration,motor current,air pressure key performance along with the change rule of changeover times,and based on the information such as tool change times and fault number completed tool storage reliability evaluation.
