| Hydroxyapatite whiskers(HAw)have excellent chemical stability,good biological activity and osteoconductivity,and are widely used for toughening ceramic materials.However,it is still a challenge to prepare a dental glass-ceramic composite material that has good mechanical properties and excellent biological activity,and is relatively inexpensive.In this paper,a sol-gel method was used to prepare Si O2-Na2O-K2O-Ca O-P2O5-Li2O-B2O3-Sn O2 based bioglass ceramic powder,which can reduce the sintering temperature,and added different contents of hydroxyapatite whiskers(HAw),spherical silica particles and hydroxyapatite whiskers decorated on the surface of nano-silica were pressed and demolded and then sintered to form a glass ceramic material.With the help of X-ray diffractometer(XRD),scanning electron microscope(SEM),Fourier transform infrared spectrometer(FTIR),universal laboratory machine,laser particle size analyzer and CCK-8 experiment,the mechanical properties and biological properties of materials with different content of hydroxyapatite whiskers(HAw),spherical silica particles and nano silica surface decorated hydroxyapatite whiskers were studied.Adding 10wt%of hydroxyapatite whiskers(HAw)to the bio-glass ceramic powder can increase the compressive strength of the material.The compressive strength was up to 137.9MPa,and the material had no cytotoxicity and showed good mineralization ability;while adding micron spherical silica particles can improve the compressive strength,flexural strength and elastic modulus of the material.The compressive strength was up to 135.8MPa,the flexural strength was 121.0MPa,and the elastic modulus was 70.8GPa.Adding 10wt%of nano-silica surface decorated hydroxyapatite whiskers to the glass ceramic powder can effectively improve the compressive strength,flexural strength and elastic modulus of the material,and the compressive strength can reach up to 153.9MPa,and the flexural strength can be as high as 153.9MPa.The highest strength was 130.0MPa and the highest elastic modulus was 75.1GPa,while improving its biological activity;the apatite deposition ability of glass ceramics with nano-silica surface decorated hydroxyapatite whiskers can be shortened to three days,and no cytotoxicity,good cell proliferation and spreading morphology on the material,showing good cell activity.The research results in this paper showed that it was feasible to use HAw,spherical silica particles and nano silica surface decorated HAw as fillers to fill bioglass ceramics to increase the mechanical and biological properties of the matrix material.The new glass-ceramic material synthesized by this experiment has potential application prospects in future dental restoration filling materials and plastic surgery filling materials. |
