Axminster carpets have a thick carpet surface and gorgeous patterns,which are widely favored by consumers.However,bulging problems are prone to occur during use,which seriously affects their aesthetic appearance and performance.It is a practical problem that carpet companies need to solve urgently.At present,companies usually trim and splice drum carpets to solve the drum problem,trimming and splicing destroy the integrity of the carpet,and cannot fundamentally improve the impact of paving and the use of forces and changes in environmental temperature and humidity on carpet drums.New,more adaptable materials are urgently needed solution.This paper first establishes the evaluation method of carpet bulging,and proposes the characteristic index of bulging(area growth amount),quantitative characterise the degree of drumming.We use 6 high-strength,low-shrink polyester dipped cords as the reinforced yarn to weave 6 warp-reinforced densities of Ackerming carpets.The mechanical properties and dimensional stability of the carpet reduce the area increase after the carpet is stressed,thereby improving the anti-bulking performance of the carpet.The results show that:(1)Through the multiple regression analysis of 6 tensile properties of the carpet,7 warp-reinforcing density,and the stretching angle,it is found that the mechanical properties such as the elastic modulus and elongation at break of the carpet are affected by the warp-reinforcing density and tensile.The interactive effect of the angle is obviously anisotropic.In addition to weft outward,as the reinforcement density in the meridional direction increases,the breaking strength,elastic modulus and tensile work at remaining 6 tensile angle gradually increase,and the elongation at break and tensile strain gradually decrease.Among them,the warp reinforcement in the warp direction improves the tensile properties of the carpet in the warp direction and 45°,less stretch deformation during paving,the less difficult it is to retract the drum during use;(2)Carpets shrink and deform under different temperature and humidity environments,the carpet has the largest loss of strength and modulus,and the most obvious heat shrinkage in a hot and humid environment(soaked in water at 90° C for 3 hours).Warp reinforcement improves the carpet's resistance to humidity and heat.Under the same temperature and humidity conditions,The greater the meridional reinforcement density,the lower the strength loss rate in the meridional and 45° directions,the greater the elastic modulus,and the wet heat shrinkage rate gradually decreasing;(3)under different constant load tensile conditions,the larger the constant load,The poorer the elasticity of the carpet,the longer the creep,shows that the greater the tensile force of the pavement,the more serious the bulge of the carpet;the warp-wise reinforcement improves the carpet's elasticity and creep resistance.Under the same constant load condition,the greater the warp-wise reinforcement density,the elasticity of the carpet warp and 45° direction recovers.The higher the rate,the lower the plastic deformation rate and creep elongation,not easy to bulge during use after paving;(4)the use of principal component analysis to integrate many mechanical indicators into the warp and 45° direction deformation resistance,zonal deformation resistance,zonal strength and The 4 main components of zonal elasticity,the cumulative contribution rate is as high as 97.96%;Correlation analysis is made between the main component determining index and the area growth amount,and the wet heat shrinkage rate and plastic deformation rate in the meridional and 45°directions are found Elongation at break and area Increment was positively correlated;warp modulus of elasticity and elastic recovery,was 45° direction negative correlation with the area of the elastic modulus increment.Research shows that the reinforcement of the carpet warp direction improves the elastic modulus and elastic recovery rate of the carpet warp direction and 45°direction,and reduces the wet heat shrinkage rate,plastic deformation rate and elongation at break of the warp direction and 45° direction.In order to reduce the area increase after the carpet is stressed,prevent bulging after heat and moisture shrinkage,thereby improving the anti-bulking performance of the carpet,it has laid a practical foundation for the research on the anti-bulking performance of the carpet.
