The Flow Of Linen: A Study Of Clothing Culture In The Social Life Of The Buyi Nationality In Yangchang Township, Panzhou

As the research object of anthropology,things have attracted much attention in academia.At the beginning of the establishment of the anthropology discipline,the physical and material culture has entered the field of anthropological research.The scope of anthropology's research on objects is very broad.Its research has generally gone from objects and material culture itself,to using objects as an exchange medium,to the classification and symbolic meaning of objects,and then to the mind and human concept of objects.Research,and finally to "the social life of things" and "cultural biography of things" research.To study things,we not only study the things themselves,but also pay more attention to the behavior of the people behind the material culture.Things have social life like people,and the social life of things has different cultural meanings and functions in different cultural contexts.As a material culture,hemp also has social life.The trajectory of hemp's social life reveals the symbiotic relationship between things and people.This study takes the Buyi people in Yangchang Township,Panzhou as the research object,uses the research methods of anthropology and ethnology to trace the social life course of hemp,and explores how things act on people and how people give things different meanings.Through the perspective of the relationship between things and people,people and people,and people and society under the local knowledge and cognitive system,many aspects such as the historical memory,production,lifestyle and customs of the Buyi people in Yangchang Township,Panzhou can be discovered cultural connotation.This article is composed of five chapters.The first chapter is an introduction.First,it introduces the origin of the selected topic,and the purpose and significance of studying the selected topic.Second,it introduces the research ideas and methods.Finally,it reviews the literature from the perspective of anthropological research.It sorts out the academic research on the clothing culture of ethnic minorities,summarizes and sorts out the research status of the Buyi people's clothing,and clarifies the scope of the topic.The second chapter mainly presents the survival wisdom of the Buyi people in Yangchang Township,and reveals the historical memory and cultural background of the things.The four major surnames of Cen,Luo,Pan,and Wu are mainly introduced to introduce their migration stories and their living environment.At the same time,they investigate the classification and naming of the Ma by the Buyi people in Yangchang Township,and then understand the Buyi people in Yangchang Township,Panzhou Cognitive system.The third chapterdescribes the traditional skills of the Buyi people in Yangchang Township,the flow of linen,and explains the context of the social life of the Buyi people in Yangchang Township.The flow of sackcloth is from the planting of sackcloth to the weaving,and finally to the production of clothing.The entire flow process reveals the materiality,vitality and process of sackcloth.The fourth chapter focuses on the linen clothing in the life etiquette of the Buyi people in Yangchang Township.It discusses the symbolic meaning and cultural function of the rituals in neonatal ceremonies,marriage ceremonies and funeral ceremonies.The fifth chapter focuses on the discussion of the relationship between things and people,and analyzes the linen cloth of the Buyi people in Yangchang Township as a material culture,which has normative,interpretive and symbolic social functions.These social functions are the society that coordinates the relationship between the subject and the object.basis.In addition,the flow of sackcloth is a shaping of women's social roles and has a decisive influence on the construction of social structures.With the development of modern science and technology and social and economic transformation,the linen cloth of the Buyi people in Yangchang Township has changed from cultural goods to cultural commodities,and the linen cloth has gradually withdrawn from the social life of the Buyi people in Yangchang Township.Things and people have a symbiotic relationship,inheritance and protection The traditional clothing of the Buyi people is the basic condition for maintaining the symbiotic relationship between objects and people.
