| The national concept of normal students refers to their basic cognition and fundamental views of the country and national issues,as well as the emotional identity and sense of responsibility for the country,and actively implement the national concept in practice.That is,the national concept of normal students is a collection of concepts integrating cognition,emotion and action.Therefore,the correct establishment of the national concept of normal students is not only related to their own development,but also related to the success or failure of China’s education in the new era.With the emergence of the new liberal arts construction,advocating the core of morality and knowledge innovation has undoubtedly given a good opportunity for the construction of national concept education.First of all,the new liberal arts provides value legitimacy for the national concept education in which knowledge and ideology coexist and co-prosper in the construction concept;secondly,on the construction path,the new concept of liberal arts provides a construction approach of political education and curriculum ideological co-cultivation for normal students’ national concept education.The construction approach of the same education is to strengthen the education system that integrates political education and curriculum ideological and national concept education.Therefore,based on the background of the new liberal arts,this research explores the cognitive catalogue of normal students’ national concept;the emotional and psychological construction of the national concept,the educational intention of the national concept,and the practice of related activities.This study used questionnaire survey method to select 468 normal students students from a normal students college in Yunnan Province as the research subjects,focusing on exploring the current situation of normal students students’ national concept,understanding the ways to carry out national perception education in higher normal students colleges,and testing the differences in demographic variables of national concept,significant differences in gender,origin,grade and discipline in different dimensions.The study showed that(1)gender differences.Gender showed significant differences in both dimensions of the cognitive catalogue and educational intentions of normal students national concept.The mean value of the cognitive catalogue was significantly higher for female students than for male students.The main difference is that girls scored significantly higher than boys in both historical concept and concept on ethnicity;the other difference is that girls scored higher than boys in their educational intentions about students’ future concept of the country.(2)Differences in place of origin.Normal students from rural areas scored significantly higher on affective and psychological processes of national concept than urban students.(3)Grade differences.There were significant differences between the grades of normal students in both educational intentions and practiced actions of national concept.In terms of educational intentions,the first year was significantly higher than the second year,but there was no significant difference between the other years;in terms of practical actions,there was a significant difference between the fourth year and the first,second,and third years,but there was no significant difference between the other years,and the fourth year had the lowest score in practical actions of national concept.(4)Disciplinary differences.There was a significant difference between disciplines in practicing actions,with literature and history higher than science and technology;art higher than science and technology;and there was no significant difference between literature and history and art in practicing actions.Finally,combined with the questionnaire data and interviews to analyze the problems existing in the national concept of normal students,the main countermeasures should include: constructing a catalogue of rational cognition,cultivating emotional identity,strengthening national beliefs,implementing practical actions,reforming educational evaluation,making full use of information technology to expand "education time and space",and shaping a pattern of joint "education" of school,society and family.At the same time,we should build a cognitive education model with classroom as the main channel,a culture-based immersion model,an experiential education model with social practice,an integrated education model with thematic activities,and a probationary education model with emotional ties,so as to cultivate normal students students’ positive and correct national concepts with a multi-faceted and comprehensive national concept education.All in all,this research intends to draw back the marginal status of ideological and political education in the minds of normal students in colleges and universities from the perspective of the construction of new liberal arts,to re-establish the status of a beacon of value that should be a national concept education,and to cultivate good human nature in national concept education.A normal student with full of spiritual temperament and considerable educational feelings. |
