| Socio-sientific issues(SSI)are a series of controversial social issues that have an impact on society,economy and ethics caused by the development of science and technology.They are social,open,scientific and ethical.It is a poorly structured and controversial issue.Teaching based on social science issues provides students with real problem situations,which helps to solve the bottleneck of the separation of school education and real society,it is considered to be an effective way to understand the nature of science,stimulate the consciousness of independent inquiry,cultivate innovative thinking and moral sensitivity.However,the research on the teaching of social science issues is still in its infancy in China.In the field of primary school science,teachers cannot systematically carry out the teaching of social science issues,and lack a comprehensive understanding and empirical research on the teaching of social science issues.On the basis of sorting out the research of relevant scholars at home and abroad,this paper summarizes the research hotspots and dynamic trends at home and abroad.It is supported by Kohlberg’s moral development stage theory,constructivist learning theory and dialogue teaching theory.Using classroom observation,teacher questionnaires,teacher interviews to understand the current situation of the teaching of social science issues from the perspectives of teachers’ perception of social science issues,the formulation of teaching objectives,the mining of teaching content,the selection of teaching methods,the development of teaching evaluation,and the development of teaching resources.The survey found that due to the solidification of teachers’ original concepts and the ignorance of the educational connotation of social science issues,the teaching cognition has a subjective tendency;the lack of teaching design experience leads to the lack of systematic teaching design of social science issues;due to the systematic development of teaching resources ineffective and limited use of teaching resources.In order to promote the teaching development of social science issues and give play to the educational value of social science issues,the following optimization strategies are put forward in response to the above problems: first,to change the teaching concept and deepen the understanding of social science issues;second,to improve the teaching design theory,promote teaching practice;the third is to implement overall management and develop teaching resources. |
